what? oh, no, dude, i'm fine. what am i thinking about? oh, i'm just thinking about the fact that one of my first memories was nearly drowning and ever since ive felt a sense of longing whenever i was reminded of the sea. visiting the coast in washington was the closest i felt to home in nearly two decades of life. i always said drowning seemed like a gentle, comforting death, even though logically it was anything but. yeah i'm okay
