All things considered, I don't want him making the 2900 mile drive by himself. So the goal is to make sure I can fly out to him first, and then we drive in his car from one side of the country to the other. There's a small buffer to also help cover the leave without pay that I'll have to take from work for this.

$890 so far!! We are so grateful for everything! It's a huge relief to have even this!

We have appoximates now! About 30 days until he's able to leave, and he is now in a safer location!!

We're still rallying to get stuff together, and would be honored by any further donations. Even getting us to and even $1000 would mean we could afford to stay in at least one motel during the drive instead of sleeping in the car the whole time. And we'd certainly appreciate having access to a shower for at least one night ^^;;
