The legends seeing Loba sneaking behind them in the lobby but honestly not giving a fuck enough to say anything about it

I also have a headcanon that Hama personally taught yakone how to bloodbend.... bc like. Only katara and Hama knew about it so WHERE DID HE LEARN? Hama not being a one off would've made so many thing throughout the remainder of tla and all of Korra make so much sense đ
Haha do you guys ever think about the fact that Atla had an episode in which Hama, a woman who after decades of imprisonment in terrible, inhuman conditions, comes out cruel and lashes out in any-which-way she can, and is treated and defeated as a villain (which, ok, she was, and that was fair) but then after gets sentenced to live out the rest of her life imprisoned by the same people as the first time?
Hahaha do you guys ever think about how fucking easy it wouldâve been to add 10-15 seconds to the episode in which Katara goes: âWhen this is all over, Iâm coming for you and taking you homeâ? Thereby displaying mercy? Which would later play into how she handles Yon Rha?
Hahahaha do you guys ever think about how much that wouldâve meant for Kataraâs character arc, but also how it wouldâve enriched the overall story?
Hahahahaha do you guys ever think about how the comparison that shouldâve been made in âThe Southern Raidersâ is, âKatara you sound like Hama,â not âlike Jetâ?* How much more sense it wouldâve made to brig up Hama at that point, you know, Kataraâs mentor who taught her bloodbending? Instead of her one-time-now-dead crush?
*Not getting into how neither make sense in the given situation, thatâs not what this post is about.
Ahahahahha do you guys ever think about how much more meaningful the Mercy vs. Justice stuff, which âThe Southern Raidersâ were supposed to be about, wouldâve been if Katara had set a precedent with how she handled Hama?
Hahahahhahaha do you guys ever think about how if Hama had remained relevant, if she had actually gotten a chance to go back to the Southern Water Tribe, how that wouldâve shaped the course of the story?
Like! Just imagine!! A Southern Master! All of a sudden, thereâs a Southern Master at the South Pole! And she isnât fifteen!
And imagine her and Pakku butting heads over how to teach students, imagine her and Pakku in a bending! Battle! We wouldâve gotten an actual comparison between Northern and Southern waterbending!!!
IMAGINE HAMA CALLING THE NORTHERN WATER TRIBE OUT ON THE FACT THAT THEY JOINED THE FIGHTING FIVE MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT!!!!
IMAGINE HAMA RAISING HELL BECAUSE WHERE WERE THEY WHILE THE SOUTHERN TRIBE STILL HAD A CHANCE? AND WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE, COMING HERE NOW AND EXPECTING TO BE WELCOMED?
Plus, like, loose ends: Who was Yon Rhaâs source? How did the Southern Raiders find out about Katara? And why to i feel like they were supposed to somehow be a Northerner?
Ahahahhahahahahahahahahahaaha do you guys ever think about how utterly amazing it wouldâve been if Hama wasnât a one-off character with no actual impact on the overarching story??!?!?!!
It wasn't a full moon on the night of the comet OR the day of the invasion đŁđŁđŁđŁđŁ
I was re-watching Avatar: The Last Airbender and realised that Katara could have blood-bended Azula or Firelord Ozai. She was ready for Aang to kill the Firelord but couldnât use her most powerful and fearsome bending to help out.
Bangalore's kill quips tho.... I love she
Say what you want, mirage has the best quips

Also: give lifeline the gold helmet and back pack if you find them. They're more helpful with her đŁđŁđŁ
