I don’t know if this is the advice you’re looking for, but writing scripts for comics or similar things can be super succesful. Look at Stan Lee and all the stuff he’s written or Charles Schultz for Peanuts. It doesn’t even have to be for comics. You can be a storyboard artist. Someone had to draw all those Disney movies. 

I don’t think it’s any different from a writer writing their story and then doing their own artwork for it. Everyone starts somewhere and it takes time. Keep your head up and keep trying. Writing could also be a side project and doesn’t have to be your main source of income. 

Sorry your parent don’t understand. It really sucks when they don’t understand how intense interests can be. Hopefully this helped a little 😅. Keep doing what your doing and don’t give up that passion!!
