More Ideas For My Physical Type Project. I Think The Lighting Here Is Really Interesting, But I Still

More ideas for my physical type project. I think the lighting here is really interesting, but I still want to shoot for a more natural light source. I like the shadows that are being created in the third pic. Gives the whole thing a sense of depth, which I think is something I’m missing from mine right now.
Might try to angle the text going into the diorama to get more of a sense of scale, and play with camera angles. Probably just need to implement some simple camera tricks to create effects within the same vein as this.

Some prototype photos for my diorama photos. Trying to get lighting down and figure out the transparency situation. I think I’d like to go with natural lighting but I need to work with it a little to get the painting to come through a bit more. I like how the type turned out and I feel good with the quote. It’s just a matter of having to take a good photograph now.

Another movie I saw recently that falls into my “cozy horror” genre. It’s a French horror film about a vegetarian veterinary student who discovers some hidden instincts within herself during a hazing process at her university. The imagery is no where near as colorful as in Suspiria, but it is given on a much more realistic level, hitting me with more anxiety than Suspiria did. Much of the early movie contain scenes with a certain kind of nature that I am very drawn to in storytelling: otherwise normal scenarios...but there’s just something a little bit off.
The poster design here is also very illustrative and cool, and I think it really does capture the nature of the film.
