Are there any theories going on about who Luxord might be?

Ofc, there’s already theories about who Luxord might be. The 3 ‘popular’ ones are:

Luxord is the Master of Masters (I highly doubt this one. It doesn’t make any a lot of sense);

Luxord is Ira (aka the unicorn leader in UX - this is mostly because both of them have a beard) (credits to @adimikatrendz - source);

Luxord is the player’s nobody from Unchained X (prior to Union X and after the Keyblade War) (credits to xionu reeves @chirithee on Twitter - source) - this is a much more complex theory that consists on:

The Latin origin of the name “Ludor” being a verb used in the first person singular for “play a game/sport, deceive, trick…” so it would be “I play”, “I deceive”, “I trick”; 

KHX battle system was cards not medals;

In KHUX medals are categorized as upright or reversed, terms that are lifted straight from tarot, plus all Luxord’s decks in 358/2 Days are named after tarot cards;

All the major arcana cards have a deck named after them except the wheel of fortune and judgment, the wheel of fortune is number 10 in the arcana - Luxord is the 10th Organization member;

The judgment card is associated with literal judgment, rebirth and it shows people rising from the grave. It’s possible Luxord might have given that card to Sora in KH3;

It wouldn’t be the first time a character created by Nomura could be named by the player but has a “true name” and identity outside of your control (e.g. Tidus and Cloud - you could name them but they were always “Tidus” or “Cloud”). Maybe a bit of illusion of choice?

Luxord’s tendency to sit back and watch as fate unfolds seems befitting of a player avatar (you could say MoM also does this but ugh). He also sees the world as a literal game.

Basically, WE ARE ALL LUXORD!

Really hype for the remake! Saw her newer design and just had to cosplay it

Sora and MoM are opposing forces of equal power.

While Sora and Xehanort were very much opposites. It’s looking like The Master and Sora are more on the same page.

Then of course they shared the same fate

And ended up in the same place

Naminé has to be one of my favorite characters since I first got into kh when I was very small. She holds a special place in my heart and it’s a shame she doesn’t get more appreciation.
