Y’all I’m feeling really proud of myself bc for once I actually addressed when I felt hurt by someone 🥺 So I spoke to the girl who said the cripple thing one-on-one and she was super apologetic and thanked me for educating her and she gave me consent to bring the issue to the attention of the rest of the chat (I would have felt weird just going ahead and calling her out without asking her first if it was cool) and they were all super receptive and were happy to be educated on the subject. I just feel so glad that they listened and understood my point about how even though it wasn’t intentional, the words that were said were harmful and caused me a lot of pain. Like it was definitely an awkward conversation to have bc it’s not really that type of chat but I’d so much rather make some people a little uncomfortable for a minute than have other disabled people end up hurt in the future because these people didn’t know their language was harmful. I’m just really glad this situation is behind me and that I can start feeling comfortable in that group again :)

Dude, that’s such an inappropriate and rude question to ask. No one is less of a lesbian because they’ve had sex with a man before.
