The Australian Circus Tent Tour AKA Cats Run Away to the Circus

This version of CATS added circus style elements to the show, such as slack wire, ball balancing, tumbling, bungee, and an extra trapeze. Mungojerrie played the role of a circus captain who directed the other circus performers. The cats who played the roles of main circus performers were Munkustrap, Tumblebrutus, Admetus, and Quaxo.

Though the costumes remained mostly the same, new wigs were introduced for Victoria, Mungojerrie, Rumpleteazer, Rum Tum Tugger, and Electra.

The tour ran from December 11th, 1999 to February 24th, 2001
