Cell Talk: Part One - [Tiz Sep AU]

To clarify context - At first in the AU things go down pretty similarly in the season one finale to how it did in canon. Team Draxum + The Foot use Big Mama's train to transport The Dark Armor. Donnie goes full Serious Hamato Ninja Mode and sneaks onto the train alongside April to try to prevent Team Bad Guys from fulfilling their evil plan. They fail, get captured by Draxum, April is yeeted back to New York and Donnie is put in Baby Jail, blah blah like I said, similar to canon.

I didn't really want to adapt that part of the story so I'm skipping ahead to where Donnie is stuck in the cell and sulking, lol.

Mikey has hidden in his shell, plastron closed over its openings. Leo crouches next to him, rapping Mikey's carapace with his knuckles like it's a door. "Heeeeey~ Mikey!" He says.

Leo smiles apologetically with closed eyes, hands folded by his cheek. "I am soooo sorry I didn't leave you a cookie. Forgive me?" he asks innocently.

Mikey opens his shell to stare judgementally at Leo from the shadows. His speech bubble reads "..."

Mikey's shell closes with a "clack!". "No one's home. Try again later," He says. Leo's crouch has relaxed back on his heels, arms loose. "Oh come on! Don't shut the door in my face!" Leo complains, pouting.

Shell quirks! Part 4, Mikey!

As a box turtle, Mikey can close his shell completely to keep out anything that might get in to bother him! Like annoying brothers, for example. Outta sight, outta mind lol

I used to make tons of Christmas cookies with extended family that I would bring home after the holiday, but alas, every single one would disappear come morning without a crumb for me. Either Santa stuck around another night or I lived with ravenous wolves rather than people! I ended up having to hide the stash to dole them out at a reasonable pace (while saving myself my share) lol
