Fortunately none of my cats participated in this trade, but when I was a teen we had a Malamute who literally shredded the phone book all over the house. Tiny little squares of tissue-like paper literally everywhere. My mother just about blew her cork when we walked in. And this is the dog who would carefully sweep out her crate with her nose every day.
