Whenever People Talk About Percy And Annabeth Being Parents, They Always Assume That Percy Would Be A

Whenever people talk about Percy and Annabeth being parents, they always assume that Percy would be a super irresponsible parent. I, for one, think that Percy would actually make a great stay-at-home dad. Headcanons?

PERCY WOULD BE THE BEST DAD EVER

right after the baby is born he makes sure to anticipate when the baby will wake up so he can be ready with the bottle and make sure Annabeth gets as much rest as possible 

he starts doing more desk work at the aquarium so he can work from home once Annabeth’s maternity leave is over 

he is always talking to the baby and singing and dancing around 

he starts timing himself to see how fast he can change a diaper just so he can brag to Annabeth 

on the weekends he brings the baby to lay in bed with him and Annabeth for morning cuddles!! 

day trips to the aquarium where he tells the baby all the fishes names and life stories while the baby watches him and the fish with huge eyes, completely transfixed 

trips to the park once the baby is old enough and he always has enough snacks for the both of them 

Annabeth’s phone is bursting with daily selfies of her husband and baby as they eagerly wait for her to come home to them 

Annabeth’s favorite part of most days is coming home and watching her husband sing along to disney music as he uses a soup ladle as a microphone and performs for their baby who is giggling in pure delight
