He has the smolest hands. Everyone is always comparing their hands to his only to find that their hand prACTICALLY ENGULFS HIS. 

Other short people (because I imagine Nico short, I don’t remember if that’s canon ??) are always being dragged over to him by their friends, who are like, “oH mY gOdS!1!! I THINK HE’S SHORTER THAN YOU!!1!1” and then they make Nico stand back-to-back with them and precede to be like, “HE IS! YOU’RE FINALLY TALLER THAN SOMEONE!” Meanwhile, Nico is just standing there, staring at them with the most unamused face like, “Yeah, big whoop. Everyone is taller than me, buster, it’s not that big of an accomplishment.” This is the point where the people walk away really fast because he’s kind of intimidating, actually. But not really, he is a fluffy, cute kitten child who is so kind and lovely and

None of the above ever happens to me. Whaaat? That’s absurd! I may be 4′9″ but

It turns out that Nico is crazy good at cooking. No one ever found this out because he’s a demigod and when exactly would they ever have time to cook? But one time, years and years later, he whips up a real quick gourmet feast for a couple of friends (jk it’s will it’s totally will it’s) and they’re like wtfwtfwtf

He raises a couple of dead every now and then to play fetch with Mrs. O’Leary, because I just imagine Nico being a really big sweetheart and being really close with Mrs. O’Leary. It just makes sense.

I mean, she’s of the Underworld, he’s basically of the Underworld too, he just feels like he can connect with her. And he loves her because she’s so sweet and good-natured. And she’s a dog, so never once did she act hesitant around him or seem intimidated by him. She just accepts him for who he is. It’s really refreshing.

Sometimes he sits and pets her and tells her all about his troubles because it’s just really nice to let out all of those pent-up emotions and secrets to someone who he knows will never judge or tell. 

Nico di Angelo confessing his crush on Percy to Mrs. O’Leary before anyone else. Nico whispering, “I’m gay,” into her fur and crying because it’s the first time he’s ever really let himself confess it and he has no idea how to feel about that. He’s so scared. 

Nico confessing his crush on Will to Mrs. O’Leary to anyone else. This time, he’s smiling, though. And feeling so ridiculously stupid.

Gelato makes him cry because, back in Italy, he used to go with Bianca and their mom to this little shop and they would all get little bowls of it. Bianca always got pistachio, so that’s the only flavor he ever gets now.

He gets really annoyed when anyone mentions that he’s technically like eighty years old because it’s just one more thing to set him apart form everyone else, one more thing to make him feel like he doesn’t belong, because he’s not even meant to be in this year or be this age, so no wonder he doesn’t feel like he fits in. No wonder. He just hates it.

He has really bad nightmares, you know, and he screams and trashes around and no one can wake him up from them, but he always calms down if someone sings Soldatino to him. Will figures this out because Nico once told him about how his sister used to sing this song to him. Will asked what the name was and Nico shrugged, but then sang a little bit of the lyrics (this is also how Will finds out about Nico’s pretty voice). “What does that mean?” “You were my little soldier.” “Sing the rest.” Nico does, quietly, staring at his hands. He’s blushing. Will soaks in every single second of it. They both notice at the end that he has tears in his eyes.

Nico always wakes up in the morning, sprawled out over his bed with the blankets completely thrown off of him. He also hugs his pillow when he sleeps. Whatever you do, don’t imagine Nico and Will sleeping in the same bed for the first time (innocently or not) and Will wakes up in the middle of the night on the floor with Nico sprawled out across the bed. And even if Nico doesn’t push him off, he always wakes up cold to find that Nico has thrown the covers halfway across the room somehow. He doesn’t understand why Nico prefers hugging that dang pillow over him.

I’m watching Sleeping Beauty with my friend. I was talking about the three good fairies, but she misheard me. She thought I said the three HOOD fairies and now I’m dying 😂

I always hoped and wished there was another Disney Jr show based on The Aristocats where the main protaginest is Marie and her brothers Toulouse and Berlioz. It can be like Sophia The First with its slice of life elements and teaching about French language and culture.”

I just cannot emphasize on how happy dan looked in this video. His eyes are crinkling, his teeth clearly visible and his smile that stretches all the way, his giggles and his genuine laughs, and its just amazing to think how far he’d come, from that kid who gets bullied at school, to dropping out of university, to having existential crisis, to just beat all of his problems and horrible past with one huge smile. 

The cat whiskers do come from within; it came from within dan’s happiness upon meeting and being with phil 6 years ago and it came when they’re just having fun and living life being with each other. It came from within their own little world that nobody understood except for themselves but is now a show with millions watching, it came from their inside jokes, it came within their own joy and personalities. They say Happiness comes from within and I think that’s what PINOF is. To be so happy and to smile like you don’t care about the world and its ugliness. To smile and to just let loose in front of the judging camera, to smile and just draw cat whiskers on your face and just be silly, cause who cares. 

They’re not just silly boys doing silly things on the camera, they’re having fun and being happy and sharing that happiness with others and that’s what I think makes this annual tradition so appreciated. For a moment they can forget being an adult and just do weird shit on the camera.
