i don't even like c++ at all but i'll cape for her over rust every time. she's powerful. she's robust. she's indulgent. and more importantly she has a stable fucking ABI, what fucking gives, crabgirls. just figuring out scoped lifetime annotations (which are for some reason sound rather than complete) doesn't give you the excuse to act like you've found the grail, especially when your system isn't even sound,

especially with gift knitting I know it can be tempting to push through it for a deadline, but it’s really not worth causing long term injury. (And anyone knit-worthy should be understanding of that, imho.) Stay well :)
