Part 3 of Denver Comic Con pics!

There was an awesome remote controlled R2-D2 who professed a love of webcomics. :D 

Not pictured is that we were back to back with Nami, Kit, and Angi in Artist Ally. Which meant that we got up to a lot of shenanigans, ate a lot of cookies, took up a lot of space and shouted obnoxious things at each other over the din of con-goers.

Some of my most wonderful CO friends stopped by to visit us! Pictured is Amanda who was my co-worker and partner in crime when we went to RMCAD together. I also got to see Laurissa, who is one of my favorite artists and all around awesome person who commissioned a baby Edward pic from me. (I didn't get a pic of it...maybe she'll scan and send me a copy? hint hint!) My friend Andrew, who had moved away from CO shortly after I did was back in town for a wedding but made time to stop by and hang out behind the table for a bit. He said it was refreshing to be around someone who was weirder than him for once.

Sunday we were on a panel called Webcomic Creators 2012. We were on the panel with Katie Cook, Mark Kindt, Mario Gonzalez and Gilly Hathaway. They were all increadibly insightful! Hopefully I didn't sound like a moron, because I definitely had not had coffee yet.

Afterwards I went and visited Gilly's table where we mutually fangirled over Tamora Pierce and Dresden File books.

Dad (with his hand behind his back): Open your mouth and close your eyes!

Me: ........

Dad: It's vegan, I promise!

Me: ...fine.

Yay! My computer is running again!

Which means...The Class is back!

Talking about Facebook posts...

Brother: Know what I'm fucking tired of? GOD. DAMN. BABY BUMP. PICTURES.

Me: Oh my God, YES. ARG!

Brother: It's like "I get it. you're pregnant. no need to post daily progress. Let me know if something changes drastically at most."

Me: Like if your baby is going to pop out á la "Alien?" I'd like to see that.

Brother: I wouldn't mind pictures if they were of a baby popping out like "Alien." As a matter of fact, I would venture to say that I would be interested at that point.

Me: OMG. If I ever get preggers I'm going to draw the baby popping out of me like that and have it be the cover to baby shower invites and/or birth announcements.

Brother: I'm sure Nana would love that.
