its really amazing that jeongguk is being a part of such a huge event with so many people seeing him and with so many other amazing artists too.

BUT there are many reasons why some people dont want support this song, are disappointed and not feel comfortable with this. are you going to tell lgbtqia+ fans who are feeling sad to hear about this song that they are not real fans? that they are fake stan?? 

I’m just tired of some fans so I NEED to say this: not feeling comfortable with this news has nothing to do with not supporting jeongguk anymore. I’m so sorry but this is something much deeper. read about qatar and maybe then you will have more empathy with these fans who are feeling sad or not comfortable with it. some fans wont feel comfortable supporting everything their idols releases, everything their idols does and says but that doesnt make them any less fans. being a fan isnt about supporting everything idols do and say.

loving and supporting idols is a bit like loving someone in your real life. you will not love this person blindly. when you dont like something they do or say, it doesnt make you suddenly love that person any less, right? when you love someone you are by their side but you can also criticize them or say when you dont like something.

if you’re not feeling comfortable supporting it, its okay. if you want to support his song but not the event, its ok. 

please, dont let people on the internet who dont even know you invalidate your feelings.
