Just had my nth conversation with someone about mask-wearing today - yet another well-intentioned moron who was like 

‘But the virus is gone now’ (it isn’t) 

‘But the mask is uncomfortable’ (ventilators are worse)

‘But you’re young, you won’t die’ (having this thing could impact my health for decades to come + it’s my responsability to protect those who’re more vulnerable than I am because that’s how society works)

‘But are you going to live in fear for the rest of your life’ (taking concrete safety measures actually helps me feel more in control and less worried)

‘But are you going to give up everything and stay inside like a rat’ (no, but I’m definitely going to decide what’s worth risking my health for, and shopping for bread rolls is not very high on my list of literally-to-die-for activities)

‘But what if they never find a vaccine’ (then we’ll get used to the situation just like we got used to a thousand other things like seat belts, bike helmets, and increasingly weird true crime podcasts). 

I know it’s tiring to have people call you paranoid all the time - but you’re right and they’re wrong. Check the news, keep a safe distance from others whenever possible and keep wearing your mask!

Jimin_ break the silence ep 5

There’s so much that I have to say about this, lets just start with the fact that I choke sobbed my way through the episode like literal tears down my face sobbing. I find it absolutely baffling how Jimin was in so much fucking pain that, I quote him, “My throat hurts so much, it hurts to even breathe.” It was hard for him to even breathe. If you’ve seen the episode you saw that when he was talking it was hard for him to even get the words out of his mouth and his voice was barely above a whisper. 

The fact that Jimin performed an entire fucking show in that condition to the point where he had to physically break down crying in front of thousands of people, it hurts me. It absolutely shatters my heart that he had to perform for hours in that condition singing and dancing continuously when all he really should be doing at that was resting. It makes me fucking mad that we wouldn’t have even known that he was in so much pain if he wouldn’t have broke down during the truth untold.

And what’s worse is that it absolutely infuriates me to no limit that, after he came down from performing the truth untold, after he literally broke down on stage to the point of Jungkook comforting him while he sobbed, he came down and had exactly four fucking seconds before he was being rushed into a cloth change and was getting ready to perform mic drop. It fucking makes me so mad that he had four fucking seconds to stop crying, get a grip on himself, forget the fact that his throat pains so much that it’s hard to breathe and just get changed and go up on stage to perform mic drop of all songs, a song that we all know ain’t easy to perform.

Now I’ll get a lot of people saying “they chose this life” “its what idol lives are supposed to be like”, NO. FUCK YOU. They could’ve made him sit out the concert, they could’ve made him lip sync or least of all could’ve given him a fucking bottle of water before making him change his damn clothes when he is fucking struggling to breathe for fucks sake?? BUT the again, if he lip syncs the kpoppies would come for him, right? If he sings when he’s sick and makes a mistake, the kpoppies would come for him, right? If he sits out a concert because he is sick, he’s an attention seeker or he’s not professional enough, right? If he sings, he’s at fault. If he doesn’t he’s at fault. If he sits a concert out he’s at fault and if he performs when sick and misses a single damn note, even then, he’s at fault? What do people even want from him? what ?

It absolutely baffles me how he had the sheer will power to pull through a full fledged concert whilst being a main dancer and a lead vocalist, doing his part as the stage genius he is, all whilst being in pain and being sick and even then EVEN THEN some people have it in their damn hearts to find faults in this hardworking, humble, genuine man who had done nothing but worked his ass off from the day he left his home at the mere age of 17 and have not stopped since to take  a damn breath. The way Jin said “In my opinion Jimin is perfect so it makes me crazy how he’s still able to work so tirelessly”. Park Jimin is already a perfect performer and even then he keeps on improving when it seems like there’s nothing even left to improve upon. 

The fact that Jimin ALWAYS gives his 100% to the point where the members have to ask him to slow down cause they’re scared he will overwork himself on stage, to the pint where his back is covered in tapes for days on end. THIS. THIS is exactly why I don’t take shit when it comes to him. His work ethic and dedication is fucking unparalleled in this industry, no one and i repeat NO ONE works as hard as this man on stage and no one ever can. They don’t call him the stage genius for nothing. He goes up on stage even when his body is breaking down and puts up a performance that is nothing less of perfection and has been doing that for YEARS upon YEARS and this is exactly why anyone who ever doubts him or talks shit about him is automatically dead to me because this man did not work to the point of his body breaking down only for some 14 year old bitch who hasn’t even completed elementary school, living on her parents money from america to come up and talk shit about how there are faults in him and how their oppars are better. This man did not give every waking second of his life to his artistry for a fucking nameless faceless blob on the internet to find faults in him and kekeke over it. I swear I have always been a shooter for Jimin and day after day that only grows and I’ll tell you this; Jimin’s karma works real hard and y’all should know better than to mess with God’s favorite child. I refuse to let anyone step on him and his artistry and his tireless hardwork for some clout. I refuse to just sit there and ignore the hate he gets just cause “every idol gets hated upon” “its normal” nah mate, I will personally fight every bitch who has shit to say about this man who has nothing but worked his ass off all day all night for years to get to where he is now. I refuse to be a bystander to the bullshit people throw at him cause GOD KNOWS that Jimin deserve the whole fucking world but this world will never deserve him.

I’ll represent you in court :)

This is a summary of college only using two pictures; expensive as hell.

That’s my Sociology “book”. In fact what it is is a piece of paper with codes written on it to allow me to access an electronic version of a book. I was told by my professor that I could not buy any other paperback version, or use another code, so I was left with no option other than buying a piece of paper for over $200. Best part about all this is my professor wrote the books; there’s something hilariously sadistic about that. So I pretty much doled out $200 for a current edition of an online textbook that is no different than an older, paperback edition of the same book for $5; yeah, I checked. My mistake for listening to my professor.

Anyone else only in their 20s but feel like they are running out of time to get their life together??

My boyfriend didn’t go to university until he was 28 because he didn’t feel anywhere near ready when he was 18. He graduated with first-class honours, went on to do a Masters, and is now a history teacher. It’s so much more important to do things when you’re able to fully commit to them and do them to the best of your ability than to rush to do them by an imaginary deadline.

HOW TO KEEP YOURSELF SAFE DURING THE 4CHAN RAID

Simply, I’m sick of all the crap 4Chan is putting the Tumblr commmunity through right now, and I think everyone else is as well.

They add rape, gore and porn images to the most common tags, because they think triggering people and causing them to inflict harm upon themselves is entertaining. That’s right guys, hilarious.

They’re planning to hack accounts on top of that.

Thankfully, many of these issues can be remedied if we can work together.

1. CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.

This should speak for itself. With the account hacking and everything, make sure you change your password quickly for obvious reasons. You should tell your followers also that if porn, gore or whatever else starts getting posted, it isn’t your doing.

2. THE NEXT 4CHAN RAID IS SET TO BE THE 20TH OF JULY.

On this day, the 4chan members have planned to unleash their tsunami of shock images onto the trending tags. Thankfully, this can be solved if we work together. Make sure you clear those tags of 4chan’s doing by posting the stuff that you SHOULD expect to find there.

3. STAY AWAY FROM TAG SEARCHING.

Be cautious. You don’t know what to expect, and if any of it triggers you, it won’t be pretty.

4. IF YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF SUICIDAL ATTEMPTS, THOUGHTS ETC, STAY AWAY FROM THE SITE.

This is simply for your own personal safety. Even if you follow step 3, there’s a chance a blog you follow will be hacked and you will see shock and trigger images pasted all over your dashboard. No one on Tumblr wants to see that happen, and they especially don’t want you getting hurt.

5. TURN OFF ANON ASKS AND ALL FORMS OF SUBMISSIONS.

Shock images, viruses and whatever the hell else have been reported to have been sent through asks and submissions. If you see something suspicious, ignore, block and report immediately, don’t respond to it in any way. Turn off anon asks and submissions to make sure it doesn’t wind up in your inbox.

6. DO NOT PROVOKE 4CHAN USERS IN ANY WAY.

THIS WILL ONLY MAKE THE 4CHAN VS TUMBLR WAR EVEN WORSE.

7. DON’T POST ANY SELFIES WHATSOEVER.

You wanna know what 4Chan are doing with them? They are editing them onto pornography, even if the person in the selfie is underage. THIS IS ILLEGAL, IF YOU SEE IT, REPORT IT TO THE AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY.

8. BE WARY OF ANY LINKS.

4Chan is also planning to replace the links to suicide hotlines with links to images of committing suicide, which is the opposite of what a hotline masterpost is supposed to do. Some links have also been edited to send out a virus. Stay away from links altogether if you want to be totally safe.

9. SIGNAL BOOST THIS. A LOT.

THE LAST THING WE NEED IS TO SEE ANYONE BEING HURT BY 4CHAN’S ACTIONS. SIGNAL BOOST THIS, SHARE THIS AND REBLOG THIS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. IT NEEDS TO BE KNOWN AND COULD SAVE A LIFE.

“Would you rather crash on a friend’s couch or the freeway?” would be a good campaign slogan against drinking and driving.

If anyone’s trying to learn a language I’ve recently discovered this company called the Language Pod Company and it is so much better than Rosetta Stone and it’s completely free (unless you’d like one-one-one teacher-student help then it’s like $25 a month which tbh you shouldn’t really need because they make it really clear in the lessons). It’s super easy to navigate and it even gives you a history of the language. There are audio and video lessons. Real-life situations and different speakers. They even write the letters for you because I know sometime it’s hard to learn to write in a language that doesn’t use the same alphabet that you’re used to. You’re welcome.

Apparently my director went to see a production of West Side Story a few years ago, and the guy playing Chino forgot his gun before coming out for his final scene. Once it got to the big scene where he is supposed to shoot Tony, he screeched “Poison Boots” and kicked the actor playing Tony until he went down. The girl playing Maria then had to jerk the shoe off of Chino’s foot, and had to do the gunshot scene asking “How many kicks Chino? How many kicks, and one kick left for me”.
