my beautiful 10 things i hate about you anon, i would like to say that i literally cannot stop thinking about eddie x reader arguing like han solo and leia organa in the empire strikes back.

it's like eddie and you cannot stop arguing, even when life as we know it is about to be destroyed by some weird interdimensional creature and you had just saved his ass from one of the demobats. while entering the upside-down version of the wheeler's residence, eddie decides that it's the perfect time to pick on you, by saying: "looks like you managed to keep me around for a while longer".

"yeah, it was nancy's idea. i absolutely would have let one of those things take you", you commented, avoiding looking into his eyes.

"nice one." he skeptically replies, "well, i think you just didn't want to get a good-looking guy like me out of your sight."

that makes you stop and you finally stare at him, but the look on your face only made him want to burst out laughing; he never was able to keep a straight face when you stared at him with such exasperation. the funniness of the situation evaporated once eddie heard robin and steve quietly laughing at them. that's when the metalhead turned his head to the duo, "laugh all you want, guys. but you didn't see us alone in skull rock earlier".

now even nancy is invested in the conversation.

"they expressed their true feelings for me", he cockily explained, with a big sly smile on his face. all three of your friends look at you with wide eyes, waiting for an explanation.
