Hey stayblr, I've been thinking of ways we can unite to help Palestine in the current genocide. With Israel closing borders again, no aid is allowed in and local organizations on the ground urgently need our help. So, i thought of rallying to raise donations for Palestine, big or small, as every dollar counts and can truly make a difference.

Initial target : 2500 dollars āœ…

ā€¼ļø Next Target : 3000 dollars.

To be split between Care for Gaza and UNRWA.

Weā€™ll raise the target goal according to our progress!

update as of 10/06/2024- [12:01 a.m.] : 2600.03 dollars !!

For transparency, donations will be received through my Kofi, with daily updates on our progress. Here are the links to UNRWAā€™s and Careforgazaā€™s work in Gaza!

Palestinians are saying that this is the worst phase of the genocide yet. They need as much of our help as we can give them, so please, letā€™s all stand together for this.

If you cannot donate

- please reblog and share around!

- stream hindā€™s hall (all proceeds will be donated to unrwa!

here are the receipts of our 1000$ donation to UNRWA & 700$ donation to Careforgaza (to their paypal acc)

Straightforward, just Palestinian fundraisers. Most will be gofundmeā€™s just because itā€™s trustworthy, but feel free to send verified fundraisers from elsewhere.

Please check out @palestinecharitycommissionsassoc who are doing the same thing and are way more established

I try my best to make sure everything I post is legit; most often I do this through others who have verified a campaign as real, usually in the form of contacting the Palestinian behind it. I want to give major thanks and credit to the following, I also encourage you to follow them:

@el-shab-hussein

@ibtisams

@90-ghost

@nabulsi

@palipunk

Just feel really useless right now and figure this is something.

Not everyone can spare money to donate, but just spreading donations and Palestinianā€™s stories is important.

Here are the most reliable Palestinian focused charities that you can quickly donate as well:

Palestine Childrenā€™s Relief Fund (PCRF)

UN Crisis Relief ā€“ Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund

World Food Program USA : Palestine

UNICEF USA Palestine

Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PCRS)

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)

Care for Gaza

eSims for Gaza

Islamic Relief

UNRWA

Here are also charities that work in Palestine as well as other places

ANERA

Catholic Relief Services

Penny Appeal

Middle East Childrenā€™s Alliance (MECA)

Save the Children

Women for Women

Doctors Without Borders

[Important Update 10/05/2024]

TLDR: Please help a trans disabled venezuelan person of color help their father appeal for an USA parole so the economic crisis doesn't eat their asses alive

[alt title: Maduro bastardo vas a caer imbƩcil]

I speak from complete honesty when I say that I wish I didn't have to come to this, but the situation here due to the economic crisis seems to just get worse each day, and we strongly fear that regardless of the outcome of either country's elections around the corner, the possibility to leave to the USA and work for a better situation than here will be cutted entirely from our possibilities. This week I spoke longly with my father and we got to the conclusion of saving and helping as much as everyone can to help him appeal for a parole, stay with trusted relatives in Miami, and work to help things over here a little better.

I'm currently working trying to keep things at bay as much as possible. But my relatives at Miami estimate that in order for my father to emigrate safely we'll need At least 8 Thousand, not to mention all the external spends in basic services, food, and others in the meantime we save as much as possible to help him move in the nearest future before the elections of either country

Because of this. Along with any donations anyone wishes to make, I'm currently offering semi-traditional doodles in this rendering style at $30

[Important Update 10/05/2024]

You have no idea how much anyone helps by even simply sharing this post as much as possible, thinking on the future has been really exhausting and I'm open to working for anything in order to disperse my mind. I hope I explained myself as best as I could, if anyone has any doubts then please don't doubt in contacting me through DMs or Ask prefferible to avoid bot flagging.

Well hey there! I used to be ghonrenoki but either the growt in traction or the high amount of ask and messages flagged my past blog as a robot :^)

I'm a venezuelan disabled trans artist still in urgent financial help over here. I don't want to repeat myself of be too personal, but essentially our car's wheels broke and we now have a new urgent thing to assist, so that's why after consulting friends and clients I elevated a little the goal and comm prices.

If you have the chance, please consider making a donation, buying a commission, or just helping me by rebloging this post is more than enough! <3

So Iā€™ve seen some posts going around saying things like ā€œboycotting doesnā€™t work, donā€™t bother boycotting Eurovision because theyā€™ve already been paid. The only thing you can do to help is donate to organisations.ā€ People are only saying this to absolve themselves of guilt. Donā€™t let them make you think that boycotting doesnā€™t work. It does.

Boycotting means that Eurovision will have a much harder time finding advertisements who want to partner with them, which means less funding overall. Boycotting means that they receive less money from televoting, ticket sales and merchandise. Boycotting means that their view count drops significantly and puts pressure on them to change their current practices. Boycotting means you wonā€™t let Eurovision distract you while bombs are falling on Palestine. And most importantly: boycotting means sending a clear message that you will not stand for their support of Israel.

Eurovision is not staying apolitical. They have taken a political stance by letting Israel compete, just like they took a political stance when they banned Russia from competing. They are perfectly capable of banning countries for committing war crimes, so allowing Israel to compete shows that they are accepting and excusing Israelā€™s genocide. They are also sponsored by an Israeli company (MoroccanOil) so if youā€™re wondering how Eurovision could POSSIBLY side with Israel, thereā€™s your answer: money.

Donā€™t give them any of yours. Donā€™t give them your viewership. Boycotting works, and if youā€™re feeling guilty for watching Eurovision, good. Feel bad. People are being killed, tortured, families torn apart and houses being bombed as we speak, so forgive me if Iā€™m not sympathetic over you not being able to watch your fucking song contest. Not everything is about you. Youā€™re going to have to feel uncomfortable sometimes when thereā€™s a fucking genocide going on.

Lastly, not everyone is able to donate. Boycotting is a great way of helping if youā€™re not able to help financially. The Palestinian BDS National Committee and pro-Palestine organisations are encouraging people to boycott Eurovision, so even Palestinians themselves and Palestinian organisations are telling you that boycotting will help.

Eurovision is not worth it. You can find something else to do. Stream Hindā€™s Hall by Macklemore since all proceeds go to UNRWA. You can also help for free by starting your daily clicks on Arab.org.

And if you are able to donate, then great! Do that too:

gazafunds.com

And dear god, if youā€™re really not able to go without Eurovision then find a fucking way to pirate it. I am also begging people not to hate-watch Israeliā€™s entry because all that does is stop the boycott and make the viewerships spike again. The best thing you can do is fucking ignore them.

Hello everyone,

Brazil is underwater, and we come here asking you for your help.

As some of you may know, the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS) has been getting torrential rains since last Monday (29/04/24).

In four days, it has rained 436,2 millimeters (17,2 inches), whichā€™s triple the normal amount in a month, which is 140 millimeters (5,5 inches)Ā

More than two great rivers in our region had their volume duplicated, or sometimes, triplicated in size.

This means all the cities that are close to these rivers ended up completely underwater

There were more than 110 towns flooded and the estimate is that more than half a million people have been affected by this climate disaster. There are also thousands of people who are arriving in my city (the state capital, Porto Alegre) as climate refugees, coming from communities displaced by the floods.

Hello Everyone,
Hello Everyone,

Through this unprecedented tragedy we have been really happy to see entire communities mobilizing to help others. Still, there are people who have lost everything, especially those in marginalized communities living in precarious, unsafe and unsanitary housing.

Thatā€™s where you come in. We need money. Money to buy food, clothes, medicine, basic hygiene products, mattresses so that refugees have a place to sleep, basically everything.

Right now, the biggest demand is drinkable water: my city is almost completely out of water, because the water treatment stations have been flooded.Ā

We understand that you may be able to give very little, but also what is little to you means A Lot more to us. Just a dollar is enough to buy 5 liters of fresh water.Ā

Here are the links for international donations:Ā
