his hands are on you at all times, especially when you’re in public, but proper cuddling only really happens in private. he likes when the two of you are facing each other so that he can see how much he’s making you smile. his hands rest on your hips most of the time while he talks to you about his day. he also enjoys a good old spooning session though, he would rest his head on his shoulder and watch whatever you were watching on your phone, occasionally kissing your ear. honestly, i think he’s the biggest cuddler of the group and would not be ashamed to admit it. oH also he’s a big tease but let’s keep this s o f t shall we hehe.

allen:

cuddles at least once a day or allen. gets. sad. and no one wants a sad bby allen. he would rather cuddle with you in private but isn’t opposed to showing off your relationship in front of the rest of the group, but he’d only do that if he knew you and the boys were okay with it. no matter the position, he will always find a way to whisper in your ear in a soft little tiny voice and will try to hold your hand. honestly, cuddling is one of his favourite activities to do with you and would do it all time if he could. as soft as this boy is, he might sometimes play a lil tricky trick on you and cuddle with you while he’s all sweaty, ignoring your complaints because he just wants to cuddle.

jungmo:

jungmo would love to cuddle with you whenever and wherever he could, even in front of other people. his favourite time to be with you, cuddling, would be during a nap late afternoon. fairy lights and closed curtains are a must. he would love just lying watching tv with you snuggled up to him, but in the comfy position, he couldn’t help but fall asleep. he wouldn’t let go of you throughout the entirety of his nap and you can bet your ass he’s gonna fake snore when he wakes up so you can stay in that position for longer. when he finally wants to act awake, he would smile at you and say “good morning” even though it’s like 7pm. he would really want to give you kisses then but also knows “morning breath” isn’t exactly what you want before eating dinner.

woobin:

absolutely loves spooning but will not tell a single soul, not even you. when it’s bedtime and you’re sleeping over, you pair will go from lying next to each other doing your own things, to him wrapping himself around you and pulling your back to his chest. he always compliments the smell of your hair and makes it a little weird just to start a conversation. unlike most couples, he wants to sleep in this position and finds it pretty comfortable, but your comfort is his main priority so if you pull away he won’t get annoyed. he does however complain when you tell his friends how soft he can be when it’s just you two and will punish you by refusing to cuddle you that night. however that lasts all of 4 seconds and before you know it he’s attached to you like a backpack.

wonjin:

the biggest tease when you want to cuddle him (e.g. “aww does my baby wanna cuddle? hmm i’ll think about it”), he literally would not stop until you kiss him to shut him up… and that’s the only way you’re gonna be able to shut him up. when he initiates the cuddling, he likes you have you in between his legs, sat on the floor with your back against his chest. he loves being able to tickle you like this but also enjoys being soft with you and placing his head on your shoulder to watch tv. isn’t afraid to give you surprise pecks in this position either, especially innocent little kisses on the jaw. despite all the teasing he does, he genuinely loves cuddling with you and being with you (but he loves teasing you more). big pouty boy when you refuse or tease him tho.

minhee:

as much as he doesn’t want to admit it to his friends, he just loves being in your presence. he loves nothing more than lying next to you while you do something like straightening your hair, it’s enough for him to feel happy. he feels happiest however, when he’s annoying you with skinship. he’ll wrap his legs around you when you’re not giving him attention, he’ll rest his head on your shoulder while you’re reading or playing on your phone and make “mmm” noises. you two don’t get the chance to properly cuddle that often, but when you do, it’s usually with a film playing in the background that neither of you are paying attention to. he’s 100% the type to draw little patterns on your arm with his finger absentmindedly too.

hyeongjun:

he would drop anything and everything for a cuddling session with you. he loves being held by you and sometimes wants to hold you too, just feeling you next to him makes him feel so bloody happy. any time of day, he’d be down to cuddle, but his favourite time is just after breakfast, you come to your room to get ready for the day but your boyfriend hyeongjun is back in bed, begging you to cuddle him. he’s a big talker while cuddling and will talk about anything, but asking you “shower thoughts” questions is his favourite, just to see the puzzled look on your face. he also loves to laugh while cuddling, to show you that he feels safe with you and hopes you feel the same way. he would also brag about how good you are at cuddling as if it’s a competition or some kind of skill.

taeyoung:

he’s a hyper boy but as soon as you mention cuddling, he’s right there by your side. he just lies there with his arms open once you say “i want a cuddle”, waiting for you to put your head on his chest before wrapping them around you tightly. he definitely squeezes you until you complain though because he can’t stop being playful. he wants to kiss you like 24/7 but gets a little bit shy asking for them, so now would be his perfect chance to ask because he knows you’re most likely to say yes while cuddling. he enjoys cuddling while facing you too, but would get really giggly, especially when you stare into his eyes. he teases you too to make it less awkward by saying things like “you look strange from the side”, not to mention he wants to see you laugh because it’s a beautiful sight.

seongmin:

will claim he doesn’t care for cuddling, but when it comes to it, he loves nothing more than being a little tiny baby spoon. greatly appreciates when you stroke his hair and will always return the favour, even if it’s at a later date. not really a “bedtime cuddler” but does enjoy a spontaneous cuddle during the day, short or long he doesn’t mind, just as long as it’s with you. as much as he protests when you rest your head on his lap while he’s doing school work, he secretly loves it and will stroke your hair ONCE AGAIN to show you that actually you shouldn’t move. the first time he tells you he loves you will probably be during a cuddling session and it would probably result in the pair of you giggling like little school kids once you say it back.

Seonghwa would stay composed

That’s a fan of theirs, he doesn’t want to act inappropriately even if they look like his dream girl/guy

When they get to him he sounds and looks a little nervous

when they say he’s their bias and they’ve liked him ever since they started stanning, he’s starts beaming is blushing badly

He knows it isn’t appropriate, but he writes his number on the photo he signed and hopes you call or text him

Even after the fan sign is over with he can’t stop thinking about them

His heart was probably a second away from beating out his chest when he finally receives a text from an unknown number asking if it was really him

Hongjoong

If it wasn’t for the fan he currently had in front of him his jaw would’ve dropped and his eyes would be glued to them

Thankfully he’s more composed than that but he can’t help but feel giddy and star struck thinking that they’ll eventually reach him

Totally mesmerized when they reach him

Blushing and nervous and so thankful they think it’s adorable and not super lame of him

Doesn’t leave his phone number but writes a sweet message and instructions to meet him at a certain place a few days from now

Excited and hopeful that they’ll show up and haven’t told people about it

His face is incredibly red when he sees them dressed up waiting for him looking very nervous

He probably wouldn’t notice them in the line or in the crowd

But when his exact type slides in front of him, blushing and shyly waving, he nearly malfunctions

So happy and smiley and full of compliments towards you more so then he was towards anyone else

Writes the sweetest message with a little heart

Doesn’t have the nerve to leave a number or ask them to meet him so he watches them leave with a bit of a heavy heart

Probably accidentally bumps into them or sees them somewhere else and starts up a conversation

This time he’s able to confidently leave them with his number and can’t wait until they text him

His eyes widen when he sees you out of the corner of his eye

When they’re finally in front of him he basically goes on autopilot

His jaw would also drop, he hadn’t noticed them until they were right in front of him so it was really shocking to see his dream girl/guy

Apologizes and blushes but he made them laugh and he’s already in love with the sound

Writes something cute and funny for them

He isn’t purposely or accidentally bold so he ends up watching them leave without any hope he’ll see them again

He lucks out though when he sees them buying an Ateez album at a shop

Can’t help but laugh when their jaw drops as he starts up a conversation with them

Ends up trading numbers with them and sets up a contact for them with their name and a heart eyes emoji

Wooyoung

He wasn’t paying attention to anyone that wasn’t in front of him so when his exact type slid up in front of him his heart skipped a beat

Tried his best to make them smile and laugh

Wrote kind of a long but endearing message about how beautiful he thought they were

Didn’t know what to do though

he wanted to get to know them but wasn’t sure if giving them his number was the right thing to do

At the last minute wrote it on the front of the album and watched them walk away as they looked at what he wrote

He couldn’t stop smiling when he received a text from them

They were one of the early arrivals and he couldn’t take his eyes away from them while they talked to the other members

He was so surprised that they matched his type and couldn’t wait until they got to him

Super sweet and made it his personal goal to make them blush

While writing a message in the album wrote down his KakaoTalk

Closes the album and tells them they can’t look until later

When the fansign ends he sees the messages from a new user

Couldn’t believe his luck that they were exactly what he wanted and they didn’t stop talking to him or treat him differently

just as one of your cabinmates was approaching you, a light tap on your shoulder caused you to spin around — wong yukhei. a sweet smile lay on his lips, although the rest of his expression was rather bashful. “hi, y/n!” he spoke quickly (you acknowledged the way he rocked on his heels and fiddled with his fingers as he stood opposite you). “do you have a partner already?”

“no.” you had answered almost immediately, but guiltily glanced back at your cabinmate, who seemed excited to watch the exchange folding out, and wasn’t very worried about not having you as their partner.

yukhei pulled his thumbs up happily, rummaging through the files in his head to think of something as charming as possible to say in the moment. “great! i think we would be good together— wait, no! i didn’t mean that in like a couple way, i meant it in the way for the canoeing.”

you had to pinch the back of your hand to prevent any laughs from spilling out of his mouth — it was clear he was trying his best for you.

“i would love to,” you replied with your most flattered smile, hooking your arm with his as you led him to the pair canoes.

jongho had always admired you from afar — from his seat at a table in the cafeteria with his friends as you laughed along with yours from another, from his desk in the few classes he had with you, when you would pass him whilst going from class to class — and that’s how he liked it. as much as he wanted to, he wasn’t going to ask you out, for he was much too shy and thought you deserved better.

he had never even imagined he would have a chance with you. until today.

his final period of the day, japanese, jongho had with you. well, you were in it, not really acknowledging him. today your professor had partnered you all up into pairs for a project: to create a presentation on different aspects of the japanese language. as the teacher read out the names of each student in a pair, jongho and his friend, mingi, were crossing their fingers in hopes of being partnered up; but that went out the window as soon as mingi’s name was called along with seo changbin’s, and jongho’s had yet to have been spoken.

it didn’t seem to occur that the chances of him being with any of his friends were becoming more and more impossible, but the chance to be partnered with you was becoming more and more possible. and jongho didn’t react straight away when the teacher called, “jongho and y/n.”

but when it had properly gone through his mind, jongho’s brown eyes widened greatly, his head whipping around to where you sat on the other side of the classroom, smiling to your friends. no way... there was no way! no way jongho would be able to function properly around you; no way for him to approach you in order to organise the project; no way that this was actually happening.

after class, jongho tried to pack up his supplies as fast as he could, so to avoid talking to you until he had thought about what he should say exactly, and what to avoid. but alas, you were faster. “hey, jongho!” you began as you stood in front of his desk, still heaving on your rather heavy backpack. “i was wondering if you wanted to come to mine, and we could start discussing? we’d probably get a higher grade if we turn things in sooner rather than later.”

jongho froze, mid-packing his textbooks and notebooks. he had barely talked to you before, had the biggest crush on you... and now he was going to your house? him, nor mingi, were sure how he hadn’t combusted yet. it was as if he had forgotten how to speak, until mingi nudged him, chuckling quite a bit. “oh!” jongho gasped. “yeah! yeah, that would be nice. really nice.”

a bright smile curved up on your lips at the boy’s response. “perfect! i hope you don’t mind, i’ll be waiting outside the library for you.” you brought a hand up and waved to jongho before exiting the classroom and walking speedily down to the library. meanwhile, mingi sat beside jongho, pestering him to no end — at least until jongho rolled his eyes and stood up, pulling his rucsac straps onto his shoulders.

it didn’t take long for jongho to join you down by the library and begin walking back to your house from there; but he definitely needed mingi to give him a pep talk before he did.
