MK and Mei find out about Red's uncle, and DBK's estranged hermit twin brother, Ruyi Zhenxian.

"I would sooner address Sun Wukong as my uncle than that hermit."

Both of them paused to eye their friend. Red Son stared at the letter that had started their realization with scrunched up eyes and a mouth twisted in anger. It wasn't the weirdest expression, Red had sometimes shot them that look of distaste before, but this felt worse.

"...uh, why?" Long Xiaojiao was the brave soul who asked and was thus the reason Red looked away from the letter to glare at her. She glared back, but with much less concern. Xiaotian settled down, waiting and watching.

This wasn't the first fire-user staredown he had refed at.

Red broke first by marching down the hallway. "Immortal Ruyi believes he knows what is best for our clan," he said as Xiaojiao and Xiaotian followed him. "Which includes me marrying a woman of "good breeding" and having many children." Xiaojiao raised a brow and without even looking at her, Red flinched. "The good breeding thing is what he said first," he said, opening the door to his room and heading to his desk. "And usually that means 'a person with who I have a political relationship,' and that changes from day to day."

He opened a drawer, revealing what had to be dozens of letters, all marked with the orange seal of a fountain. Without even a care in the world, Red threw the letter in and closed the drawer.

"...Shouldn't we be worried, then?" Xiaotian asked. He wasn't the biggest fan of politics, but shifting alliances sounded unsteady.

"No," Red said, his annoyed expression fading just a bit. "He's too much of a coward to actually arrange anything without the consent of my parents and my parents want me to find a match for love." He took a deep breath in, held it, and released it slowly. "Now, what were you saying about the arcade?"

The two besties glanced at each other before shrugging.

One time my family was at my sister’s boyfriend’s grandparents’ house(they live on this lake and own an area(basically his family rich)) and his cousins were there and after swimming we were inside to eat and I was playing with this baby in his room right? Well I hit my sister as yknow a joke and the next thing I know;
