Either way, you always found ways to have the best times you possibly could when going out with them, since you didn’t have much of a choice.

It took a couple of days into the vacation to finally meet up with all of your brother’s friends that you’ve grown up with, all of them even more handsome than the last time you’ve seen them, to the point of wondering if Seokjin only befriended handsome people to go with his “worldwide handsome” gig.

And yet, by the fourth day since you’d returned, one out of seven friends was missing, the youngest and cutest of all of them, the little guy your brother had taken under his wing when he was still an awkward, shy little kid, a few good years younger than Seokjin, closer to your age than anyone else’s. And yet, somehow, he was still that little boy in your eyes, mainly because he would always get so very flustered when it came to talking to you or any other girls you’ve seen him around and your brother always seemed so overly-protective of him compared to anyone else.

Of course, that was mostly a thing of the past. Although you had been away from home for the past few years, there was always social media and whenever you checked, you could see exactly how much the shy little boy had grown into a dangerously handsome young man. That being said, you were intrigued at the opportunity of finally seeing him again in person.

You’d been at the party for a couple of hours, with your brother watching you like a hawk to make sure you weren’t drinking too much, his attempts at stopping you proving futile on more than one occasion as he was very interested in his own drinking too. It was impossible not to have fun when surrounded by your brother’s friends, all around your age and slightly older, but very welcoming. By the time the clock struck 11, everyone was a little tipsy, giggling among themselves, a little more touchy, a little more breathless with each touch, fingers lingering just a little more as they did. And when your brother somehow made sure every time that his friends were among the most handsome people on the goddamn planet, it wasn’t hard to lose track of what you should and shouldn’t do the eldest’s presence. Which is why by the time struck midnight, you had already made out with two of the people invited to the party, one of them being the little devil child you’d grown up with, a deliciously handsome devil within his own right, Kim Taehyung, and the other one someone unexpected yet very welcomed.

You didn’t exactly know when he turned up to the party and nobody else seemed to have any better of an idea either, but the first time you held his gaze provocatively was less than a minute before you were pushed into a wall and his lips were on yours, large hands gripping at your sides and sliding comfortably to your butt as if it was something normal for him to do, that happened all the time. It didn’t last very long, unfortunately, his teeth barely grazing your bottom lip, asking for entrance, when he harshly pulled away and one of his hands flew to his ear. You needed a moment to get a sense of what was going on, having felt all hot and bothered just moments prior, only to have the heat stripped off of you so suddenly. When your tipsy mind adjusted to the surroundings, you weren’t all that surprised to realize that the disturbance was your older brother pulling at Jeongguk’s ear and yelling something, with a couple of other people laughing on the side. The poor boy’s attempts at getting rid of Seokjin proved useless since, when your brother drank, there were very few things that stopped him, so you pondered whether or not you should step in.

Ultimately, pushing the two away was the better decision as you quite literally had to pull off Seokjin and push him all the way over to his boyfriend who was grinning widely, completely amused and enamored by his partner’s outburst, not at all embarrassed anymore, since everyone knew that was a normal situation for them.

“Mmm, hyung, why do you have to be so aggressive, I was just getting a little taste, your little sister is delicious.”

“Yeah,” you grin, “Your English is getting better all the time.” Your compliment has Jungkook smiling as he crawls to you; happiness still tugging at the lips he leans forward and presses to yours in a kiss that ends far too soon.  

He sinks back from his knees to sit at your side, tilting his head to rest on yours and making you hum with contentment when he turns it to press another kiss amongst your hair, soft and sweet.  Rotating your body to face him you lean in too, thankful to finally have him all to yourself - if only for a little while.  

You’d barely stepped foot into the hotel room before Jungkook was setting up his desk space for an impromptu Vlive, still buzzing from all the residual energy from tonight’s concert.  He’d been so insistent in his need to talk to ARMY - his one and only focus throughout the entire journey home - but you can understand why he’d felt that way.  Having seen it first hand, tonight’s rendition of Young Forever had moved you just as much as it had Jungkook; tears running down your face even as you watched the closing fireworks fly.

“For the hundredth time, Jimin, you piece of shit, yes,” Taehyung accentuates the last word, frowning. “We both — ow! I mean, I accidentally, maybe on purpose, dyed Yoongi’s clothes pink because I’m the only one with a pair of damn balls — ow! For fuck’s sake, ___, stop pinching me!”
