Welp she did it. She asked again and insisted I explain it to her or she would just Google it and I would rather her hear my watered down version than what the entire internet has to say about it

So I started by being like, so you know how people on tumblr are

And she was like yeah, they want everyone to be gay

And I was like basically, yeah. And so she quickly put two and two together and knew that it was Buck and Eddie that I wad referring to

So she was like, well what exactly is the kitchen scene? Is it because they're always like eating dinner together and acting like a family?

And I was like that's true but not necessarily what it's referring to. So I explained it and tried to laugh the whole thing off while also being like can you blame people for thinking they're in love with eachother I mean look at how they act

And she somewhat agreed

But when I was explaining what scene it was talking about I was like, people noticed some definite... tension in that scene

And she was like, yeah there was tension, but I didn't see any sexual tension 😆

Anyways that was terrifying but now she knows and I might show her buddie things now if I come across anything particularly funny 🤪 I might try to convert her to being a shipper too during out rewatch of the show...

So my mom finally got caught up on 911, except for tonight's episode, and since she is a major fangirl but still a grown adult that doesn't understand fandom social media, she immediately went on to pinterest to start looking for memes and stuff

But then she asks me a terrifying question

"What's the kitchen scene?"

I have NO CLUE how to respond to this bc as far as I'm aware my mom is most certainly a part of the ga and doesn't know anything about buddie

So I just try to shrug it off and be like oh it's nothing but she keeps pushing. So I'm like, it's just Fandom stuff it's stupid (even though its not and I'm absolutely obsessed with it)

But now I'm afraid that she's gonna keep looking at stuff on pinterst and find stuff out about buddie and shippers and all that and what if she tries to talk to me about it 💀💀

She always gets weird with shipping stuff like when she found out about destiel she was like people are ridiculous smh

So anyways I'm scared 👍

I'm not gonna get to watch the new 911 episode tonight and I'm gonna have to wait for it to come on hulu, which I'm hoping is tomorrow?

But that means that all day until after school is over and I can watch the episode, I'm gonna have to stay off of tumblr, Twitter, and tiktok to avoid spoilers 😭
