i’ve been rereading radio silence recently and i remembered exactly why i love it so much. it’s so soft. it’s like reading soft purple light and twinkling stars and crackling radio static and the sound of quiet laughter— it’s like an old-fashioned phone ringing. frances janvier is me and i am her, and oh. this book is so soft and lovely i want to live in it.
