Awww, Kosmo is our big cute boy!!!

Kidge one-shot idea: keith and pidge are expecting a baby soon, and they get a very cute/protective reaction from cosmo during pidge's pregnancy, and after the baby is born

Sorry I took long to answer that one!!! But when I read it back, I feel like the whole fic I wrote was written by a ten years old... (Also, it's very short...)

I still hope you enjoy it!!

It all started on a random day. Pidge was minding her own business in the house, affectionately known as the "Kogane" house or Kidge house, as Hunk and Lance called it. She was tinkering with one of her gadgets when, out of nowhere, Kosmo, the HUGE space wolf, teleported into the room. Kosmo approached Pidge, seeking a few pats.

"Hey there, big guy," Pidge said, scratching behind Kosmo's ears. But Kosmo seemed distracted, sniffing Pidge intently, especially around her lower belly. Pidge raised an eyebrow. "What's up with you?"

Kosmo gave a soft whine but eventually settled down, letting Pidge return to her work. But this became a daily routine. Every day, Kosmo would teleport in, sniff Pidge, and then snuggle up next to her.

One evening, as Pidge was brushing her teeth, she felt a presence behind her. She pulled back the shower curtain, and there was Kosmo, staring up at her with his big, soulful eyes.

"Seriously, buddy?" she laughed. "You're worse than a shadow..."

And Keith noticed too. "Pidge, is it just me, or has Kosmo turned into your personal bodyguard?"

Pidge sighed. "I don't know what's gotten into him. He keeps sniffing my belly like there's something there."

"Well, is there?" Keith asked, concern etched on his face.

Pidge paused, realization dawning on her. "Now that you mention it, my period is late..."

Keith's eyes widened. "You think...?"

"There's only one way to find out," Pidge said, her voice trembling slightly.

After two nerve-wracking pregnancy tests, they had their answer. Pidge was pregnant.

"We're having a baby," Pidge whispered. They weren't planning on becoming parents now... But guess destiny decided otherwise...

Keith hugged her tightly... Even tho he has always been scared of being a dad, with her, he was ready to do it. "We're going to be parents."

Throughout the entire pregnancy, Kosmo never left Pidge's side. He was there through every doctor's visit, every late-night craving, and every restless night. On the day Pidge went into labor, Kosmo was right there in the hospital, lying beside her, keeping her warm and calm.

When the baby finally arrived, Kosmo approached the tiny bundle with great curiosity. He sniffed the baby gently and then, with a happy pant, nuzzled closer.

"You knew all along, didn't you, Kosmo?" Pidge said softly, smiling at the space wolf.

Kosmo looked up at her with knowing eyes and decided to join her on the bed for some cuddles... Because even tho the baby is there now, she still needs to relax and rest...

He cared for her, deeply.

Idk why I did this, and Pidge looks pretty bad, but I didn't have a lot of ideas and this blog have been dead for enough time. Let's wake up kidgers!!!

One-shot idea: keith gives pidge a gift she very much wanted and just showers keith with kisses and a big hug from her excitement

That ask kept me awake lol (BECAUSE I HAD SO MANY IDEAS JUST COMING TO MEEEE) So if you have other asks, feel free!! ANYWAYS! HERE'S THE FIC! (sorry if I made mistakes!)

"I'm so happy that i'm spending that last night on earth with you..." Pidge smiled up at her boyfriend, Keith, as they were sat on the head of the black lion...

It had only been a month since these two started dating... They were pretty awkward most of the time as it was their first time in a relationship, but it was going on the right way... The only physical contacts they have had yet we're holding hands, hugging and kisses on the cheek, forehead and the top of the head... Also, no one knew about them! They weren't playing on telling anyone so soon, though... They decided to take their time, and they never complained about it.

He nodded softly, "i'm happy too... The only times I saw you this week, everyone was around... So i'm glad we're able to spend some alone time together..." As he spoke, he placed his hand on hers. "Besides, you're the only person I want to spend time with... Especially on that day..." Without thinking, he kissed the top of her head which surprised her a bit, but she didn't say anything about it... Her smile simply softened and she look at the landscape in front of them before to rest her head on his shoulder.

"It was a nice day..." She said, breaking the silence again.

"Yeah? What have you done today? I heard you went out with the girls..."

She smiled, thinking back of the day she had. "Yeah... I helped Allura find an outfit for her date with Lance..."

He laughed, "Lance came earlier as I was waiting for you! He had random stuffs on himself because he wanted to be dressed like an Altean guy... So he went to Coran and, well..." He laughed again. "But anyway! How did it go? Did you find something, even for yourself?.." he smiled and looked down at her.

"You'd be surprised! I found like a hundred stuffs today! I even found some you might like! Just go to the mall, say that you're a paladin of voltron and BOOM! You get everything for free!" A proud grin appeared on her face.

"Pff, seriously?.. what did you find?.." his smile grew wider at her excitement.

"Well, I found books, a costume of my character from the show which looks a bit stupid but anyway! I found snacks and OH! Oh..." She then remembered and her smile faded away.

"What?.. what is it?.."

Her smile had faded away. "I found a video game..."

Surprised by the sudden change of mood, he felt his concern grow.. "what's wrong with that?.."

"Well, when I got it, I was so excited! It's a new game that just came out before the galra invaded and no one ever reached the end!.. and now, almost all of them got destroyed..." She sighed, "but when we got to the store where Allura found her dress, the guy that was selling the dress said he would only give us the dress if... I gave him the video game... So I did... I had many reasons to do it and I don't regret doing it... I was planning to play with Lance, since he also likes that game... But I figured that we wouldn't have time for it... We have to fight daily and I know that he'll spend his free time with Allura... They're into each other, it's obvious that they're going to date... And I wanted Allura to be happy..." She sighed again but smiled. "Still, I don't regret doing it, i'm just so sad that I won't get to play it..."

He looked at his girlfriend with a soft smile. "You did good... Not everyone would have done that... That's why I..." He paused a moment before to speak again, "that's why I love you... You're an amazing person... And I have a thousand reasons to love the person you are... And even now, you're showing me how great you are... I bet Allura felt the same..." He caressed her back. "What game was it?.." He asked, looking down at her.

"Hum... Killbot phantasm 26: revengifiance... Why?" She looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Ah, I played the first game... It was nice..." He smiled, remembering everything about it...

"Really? I didn't know you were into video games?!" She looked up at him, excited.

"Wellll.... I play when I'm bored... Not so much... I only played basics that I found in my dad's stuffs... But yeah, I play..." He nodded.

"KEITH! That's so great! We have to play together! Why didn't you tell me before?!" She grabbed his arm, excited"

"Hum... I... Didn't think it was so important... Even more since I don't play so often..." He looked a bit surprised and lightly blushed.

"It IS important! Oh my gosh!"

"Well, we can play sometimes..." He softly smiled but then Pidge's phone made a sound in her pocket. She took it and her excitement disappeared.

"Aw... I have to go..." She sighed.

"Kate, you're 18! How about you let your mom know that you're not done here yet?.." he raised his shoulders playfully.

"Are you crazy?! My mom will kill me! As long as I live under HER roof, I have to follow her rules or I'll have nowhere to sleep tonight! She didn't give me the keys of the house because she said if i'm not back by 12, she'll close the door! And I'll have to wake someone up for them to tell me I'm not mature enough or whatever..." She shook her head and got up. "Plus, we have to wake up early tomorrow... So sleeping now is not a bad idea..."

"Well, first, if you stay, I'll let you sleep on my bed and I'll sleep on the couch... So yeah, you'll have a place to sleep at... Secondly, yeah, you're right... Go get some rest..." He got up to say goodbye.

At his words, she smiled. "You too... Go sleep with your space wolf ON YOUR BED!" she lightly giggled.

He laughed a bit and hugged her softly... "Good night, Katie..."

" 'Night Keef..." She hugged him back gently...

As the hug broke, they smiled at each other for a moment... If only that moment could last longer, they both thought. Then, lost in the moment, he leaned down, his lips meeting hers... A soft and passionate kiss that seemed to last an eternity...

At the end of the kiss, they stared at each other again but this time, red like tomatoes.

"Hum... I should go now!... See you tomorrow!.." she took her stuffs quickly and left... Keith could tell that she panicked... And it wasn't surprising, she also did when he confessed to her... Even the first time he held her hand or kissed her cheek... He concluded that she was just bad with first times...

As Pidge got home, she immediately ran to her bedroom, not saying anything to her family...

And of course, as she laid in bed, she buried her face in the pillow.... Her skin was still completely red by now, rewinding to that kiss again and again in her mind... It was unexpected... She had NEVER kissed anyone like that before, and she felt like a fool for running away like that... Maybe if she had stayed, she would have had more...

Thoughts overwhelmed her and she slowly fell asleep...

The next day, everyone was already at the garrison, and in advance... The only one missing was Keith... He wasn't answering any calls or messages... And the launching was in 40 minutes!!! Suddenly, Keith appeared, breathless.

At his sight, Pidge felt her heart beating faster... She tried to calm down and to manage the blush on her face... Hopefully, everyone's focus was on Keith...

"Finally! We thought we'd have to find a new black paladin!" Lance complained.

"Sorry guys... I had something to do before to leave" he said, catching his breath.

"Mh?.. what?.." Hunk raised an eyebrow.

As Keith was about to answer, Shiro approached: "Keith! Finally! We have to go do our speeches... Are you guys ready?..". He reassuringly smiled to all of them...

Everyone nodded as an answer and headed towards the platform...

Speeches were made and the Atlas launched...

After a while, Pidge headed to her room to rest a bit... last night, it still took her a while to fall asleep... she was in her thoughts again when someone knocked on her door...

Surprised, she got up and opened it...

"Keith?.. what a surprise..." She smiled and lightly blushed...

"Hey... Yeah... Can I come in?.." he smiled and Pidge nodded but then, she noticed he had a plastic bag in his hand...

"Hey, what's that?.." she raised an eyebrow... He sat on her bed and showed her the spot next to him... She sat.

"It's a gift... For you..." He smiled gently, handing her the small bag...

She hesitantly took it, "a gift?.. what for?.."

"Do I really need a reason to give my girlfriend gifts?..." A light laughter escaped his lips and he placed a hand on her back and kissed her cheek. "Now, take a look inside the bag!"

She nodded and then gasped, "what the- KEITH!" She took the video game she told him about yesterday out of the bag, "Where did you get that?!" She looked up at him, shocked.

"You looked sad yesterday when you spoke about that video game... And you did something great without asking for anything in return... You daily do great stuffs without asking for anything... But you deserve so much... I know it's just a video game but anyway... I wanted to make you happy..." He paused a bit, "I looked for the game all night on the internet and I found it... with a guy that lives a state away... so I went to get it and I did exactly as you said! I said that I was a paladin and I got it for free!" He smirked. "So even if you can't play it with Lance, you can play with me! Im not an amazing player, but-" As he spoke, he jumped on him, making him fall on the bed... She hugged him tightly, not letting him finish his sentence.

"KEITH! You're the best! I love you so much!" She washed his face with kisses before to hug him tightly again... After a few seconds, she sat back up and hugged the game. "You didn't have to! You did too much! Did you even get enough sleep?.." she then looked at him, worried.

He sat back up and kissed her forehead, "nah, but it was worth it... Besides, I'll go get some rest after we play..." He softly looked at her.

She shook her head in response. "Nop you're resting now..." She placed the game on the ground before to place herself in a way he could lay on her belly, her back against the wall... She opened her arms and with a soft sigh, he snuggled in her arms as they closed around him, caressing his hair and back softly. "We'll play later..."

She kissed the top of his head, "you're the best, Keith..."

Kidge headcanon 33!

Keith is a natural with babies. Pidge think that's sweet, and because of that once actually thought about Krolia's idea of having 30 kids.

Kidge headcanon 32!

When Keith decided to propose to Pidge, he was so nervous! They weren't at a fancy restaurant or in front of thousands of people, they were in their house, on the couch, watching a film. He cleaned his throat and looked at her.

"We should end this now" he said.

"What?" She answered, confused.

"I said we should end this relationship... I... I'm ready to..." he stopped when he saw her crying. She was so broken by his words, she couldn't believe him! After all those years together, he wanted to break up with her in such a random moment?? After all their dreams about their future, their house, kids, and everything??? While watching a romantic movie???

"You're breaking up with me??" She got up, sad and scared.

"No! No! I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore..." He took the little box out of his pocket with a ring inside it "Because I want to be your husband..."

Pidge's world broke at those words... She couldn't believe it! She cried more and hugged him tighly, shocked from before but even from what he just said, and saying a hundred times yes.

Pidge: Keith and I have started building our own personal army of clones.

Keith: *sips his drink and raises an eyebrow as he looks at her from across the room*

Lance: Oh yeah?

Pidge: Yep, granted, real clones are expensive and I wasn't able to get clearance for the Garrison labs, so we decided to make artificial clones the old fashioned way.

Keith: *chokes on his coffee*

Matt: Old... fashioned way?

Shiro: You mean, you two are...?

Lance: Holy quiznack, Keith and Pidge boned!

Pidge: Clone #1 is about 7 or so months out, she'll like the colors purple, red, or green in any gifts you provide. We're not too worried about how the colors will clash.

Matt: I'm going to be an uncle!

Shiro: I'm too young to be a grandpa!

Keith: *still dying because **this** is how she decides to tell everyone they're expecting??*

"How can you be so sure?"

Lance and Allura were resting together in Allura's room in the Atlas, wrapped up in the comfort of each other's presence. They had been chatting about various topics, their conversation flowing naturally as they cuddled.

Lance: Hey, am I crazy, or does Keith have a thing for Pidge? Allura: Hmm, I would say Pidge has a thing for him, honestly. Last time, she blushed a bit and got all flustered when he simply made sure she was sleeping and eating enough. Could have been something else, but it's not the first time. Lance: Well, I noticed Keith giving quick glances towards her when we were sitting together, and she was working. And that went on for almost an hour... *They both smiled at the realization.* Lance: Okay, these two are definitely into each other but too dumb and clumsy to do anything about it... Allura: And you're forgetting that both of them are probably focusing on what they have to do. I don't even think they know about their own feelings... Lance: Right! Can you just imagine the day they'll understand how they feel? It's going to be a mess! Allura: This all makes me think... It explains why Kosmo follows Pidge as much as he follows Keith. Cosmic wolves are known to create a sort of magical bond with their owners if they have one. He feels and knows better than us how Keith feels. Kosmo is probably reflecting Keith's mind... Lance: That's probably it. But I can tell, if these two ever get together, it'll take them time to act like an actual couple. I know Pidge never had a boyfriend; she said so, and when I insisted, she punched me. As for Keith, no need to know him. He never had a girlfriend. Allura: How can you be so sure? Lance: The haircut. Allura: You'd be surprised to know how many women I heard in the hallway saying that Keith looked "hot"... Even Veronica said so! Lance: Don't put my sister in this! Allura: Even Acxa! I think she likes him too... Keith is pretty popular with women, and I think he doesn't know it either... Lance: Let's not talk about it. *He crossed his arms and pouted but then kissed her cheek.* Allura: Do you think we should help them? Lance: Help them what? Realize? Don't worry... They have time... They'll figure it out on their own. They're not THAT dumb about feelings, I guess... Allura: You're right... Now, let's make a bet! My bet is that Keith will tell her about his feelings first! Lance: Well, guess I have to pick Pidge! I know she can do it... So yeah, if you win, I prepare a date night for the both of us. If I win, you do! Allura: Deal!

Kidge headcanon 59!

An AU :

one day, the lions were needed again. But there was one problem : Pidge was pregnant of her first baby… So keith refused to go back to war while his wife is pregnant and close to her due date… But, Katie pushed him to go, promising him that she’ll be fine and telling him that he is needed…

But then who piloted green ? ( they’re still looking for a paladin for blue…) well, Pidge had an idea : the team needed another tech genius… Someone that they already knew so the bond between them wont be too weak… Matt was the best option she had in mind.

She apprauched green along with Matt. Green bowed fot her ex-paladin but Pidge simply placed one hand on green’s nose… The green lion being smart, understood that Pidge couldn’t pilot her… She felt that Pidge was having a baby soon…

Green and Pidge shared da last moment of bond together… then, it was over… For now. Pidge knew that when she’ll be ready, green would also be. The bond will never compleatly disappear…

Finally, green opened her mouth for Matt. His sister gave him a light punch on the shoulder with a smirk and said «your turn !.. »

Matt gave her a gentle hug and then, the both of them walked in green’s jaw so Pidge could fly green one last time, but with Matt piloting.

BONUS/

She gave birth to her son while Keith was on a mission and he was aware of that. So the fight was pretty violent because DAMN. He’d like to be by his wife’s side at this moment. (His teammates were pretty surprised, it had been a while since he had snapped that way…)

When Voltron unformed, he rushed towards the Atlas with black and towards the room where Pidge was. All that at the speed of light.

( sorry if I made a lot of mistakes ;-; im exhausted)

Excuse me, am I the only one to think that Galra empire is like the exact copy of the roman empire???? I'LL PROBABILY WRITE A POST ABOUT THAT.

Kidge theory!

SOOOO!

Kosmo have a good instinct, like any wild animal (even tho he's now a domestic wolf...)

He has been through the quantum abyss with Keith and grew closer to him. I think that combined to the instinct would make him the right person to know who Keith would choose as a "mate" (using the word "mate" because Kosmo might see it that way...)

Plus, in the quantum abys, Kosmo might have seen things as well as Keith and Krolia (i already made a theory about this! Go check it outttt!!!!!)

Maybe he saw Pidge in Keith's future? Or maybe in his own future ever since he's "Keith's wolf"...

So that could explain WHY Kosmo has been protective towards Pidgey...

Exhibit one:

He's curious... It's the first time that he meets the girl that he saw in these "future visions"/ he felt something special between Keith and that girl//// he smelled him on her????? Idk. One of those. (Could be smelling the mice too... But he seems to stare at Pidge (i zoomed)🤔)

Exhibit two!

TOO MUCH TO SAY! OKOK...

Kosmo is smart. He moved everyone in a lion that he instinctively knew they would belong better (let's not mention how Lance grouped everyone...) then, he teleported to Pidge. WHY? He belongs with Keith! So why would he go back to Pidge ??? Plus, he barely know her...

My theory is that he understood that his owner was trusting Pidge a lot, that they have a profound bond and that Keith admires Pidge very much.

I didn't even mention the fact that he protected her TWICE. By stabilizing her with his head. AND THEN THAT LOOK THEY SHARED IT WAS SO CUTE..... It was like a mutual "are you ok?.."

And then by destroying the galra ships that were following them...

Best part is that Kosmo could have totally went with Lance, Lance was in danger too. But he decided to go with Pidge.

Look, IDK IF THIS ALL MAKES SENSE, IM SOOO TIRED... I DID MY BEST TO EXPLAIN THE THEORY, ILL PROBABLY CORRECT IT IF IT SOUNDS WEIRD...
