Happy New Year one and all! As a handful of you already know from our discussions these past few months, I've got some big changes planned for 2017: starting today with giving up my near seven days-a-week routine of nightly drinking. I've got three long distance charity rides planned this year (a total of over 1,250 miles in three states -- CA, NY, and FL), so I'm committing to being the best possible version of myself. But if I'm being perfectly honest (read: vain), I'd like to get as lean and ripped as possible for the first time ever in my life. And if by the time my first ride launches this coming June I like what I see, I might just continue without alcohol indefinitely ... save for the occasional glass of wine with dinner or celebratory drinks at a PRIDE event. Many other changes are already in the works and more will be revealed in the future ... though the pic accompanying this post might just provide a clue or two. ;-) (at Central Avenue/Camelback station)
