🐉 Kung Lao is... heartbroken. You never talk to anyone about your problems, not wishing to be a burden and that makes the monk so sad. Kung Lao sits down next to you as you're sitting with your knees pressed against your chest. He doesn't wish to make you feel uncomfortable but he still asks that you listen to him. He starts off by saying that you can trust him not to hurt you - which might not be an easy thing to do, he understands. But exactly that makes you open up and even smile a bit. Kung Lao assures you that you will never be a burden and you're not alone - you have him. The thoughts that tell you that you're not enough? The Great Kung Lao would gladly punch them away if he could!

🐉 Shang Tsung is a malicious man, so his care comes as a shock to you. He says that of course he cares about your feelings, and you just give him a funny expression, not understanding. He sees you're hesitant, so he offers you a seat and sits down opposite of you. Never breaking eye contact, his dark eyes are piercing, his gaze intimidating to many - which was not his intention right now. Shang Tsung has lived many years and he is very respectful - he gives you genuine advice but most importantly... something that shocks you even more... Shang Tsung gets up and embraces you. It doesn't matter if you cry into his expensive outfit, Shang Tsung cares only for you to get better.
