Just a reminder for people who may not know, in light of protestors at UCLA being shot in the face with rubber bullets— rubber bullets are not bullets made of rubber. They are metal bullets encased in rubber.
Despite being called “non-lethal” or sometimes “less lethal”, they are well known to cause death and permanent disability.
Here’s a photo showing their size— these are actual rubber bullets used during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.
Do not let them downplay the severity of what they are subjecting this students to for standing against genocide. Stay safe and stay educated.

People are being absolutely abhorrently homophobic towards poor Mitsuki because he talks to Eida about love and apparently he says he loves Kawaki (Boruto)?
Though some are saying it's a mistranslation, even if it is, that STILL doesn't give people the excuse to be disgusting and be angry at even the POSSIBILITY that a male character in a Shonen could be Gay or anything other than Straight.
I'm utterly disgusted by the way people have been acting towards this chapter. The Homophobia AND Misogyny really jumped out. Nice to see the Fandom showing it's true colors 🙄
I don't know why anybody is surprised by Mitsuki's confession. He's spent the entire manga claiming Boruto is his sole purpose for existing and calling him the Sun to his Moon. He's said his goal is to spend the rest of his life by Boruto's side.
The anime even has Mitsuki tell his team not to assume someone's straight. (I don't remember the arc, just the line "He could also love a boy, you know.") The only way this boy could get more queer-coded would be if he started wearing a rainbow flag pin.
Homophobes are just mad that they got their plausible deniability taken away. Just because someone doesn't like the BoruMitsu ship doesn't mean they have to be hateful.
Children in Gaza can tell an F-16 from an F-35 from a drone. They know a whole litany of things that are beyond their years. Things that they shouldn’t have to know. Over 10,000 children have been killed in Gaza. The children who have survived have seen their families, friends and neighbors killed by the Israeli army. They have seen near-death by starvation and death by suffocation, under the rubble and by explosion. Children in Gaza do not have the luxury of death being a mystery. It is a daily presence. If a child in Gaza is hungry, they know not to throw a tantrum. They have become used to feeling hunger. The same is true of the cold. Every child in Gaza now knows what it is to be unhoused, to sleep in a tent or on the streets in winter.
The thing is... Israel admitted to this from the very beginning.
They said the confessions were obtained through 'interrogation' in the Shin Bet aka torture (Shin Bet is where they like to torture Palestinian prisoners for intel) so every country that cut funding to the UNRWA knew from the beginning that Israel was using false forced statements.
The famine in Gaza is partly due to this. Never forget that.
the flour massacre is ongoing. it is everyday. it was not an isolated event. it was not even the first time israel shot at and killed palestinians going for aid (they do it whenever they allow aid through). in fact, they did the exact same thing yesterday morning. just because smaller-scale murders go under the radar for lack of shock factor doesn’t mean they’re not happening continuously.

Someone reblogged my post about racists intentionally leaving Gaz out of 141 content and they said “It's not that people are racist, it just that most, not all, but most people just aren't attracted to Gaz and won't include him...”.

You don’t have to be attracted to Kyle. Everyone has their preferences, but to write 141 content, specify that the content is for 141 as a whole, leave out Kyle and/or replace him, is FUCKING RACIST. No one writes for 141 and swaps out any other member; it’s always Gaz.
Please don’t reblog my posts with stupid comments like that. You’ll be blocked, just like the person who made this asinine comment.
It goes without saying, but 141 includes Kyle “Gaz” Garrick. If you’re gonna exclude him, your content shouldn’t say it’s about the 141. Period.

I am so fucking scared. I feel that... you know it's not about death. I'm not so scared of death. I'm so scared of being displaced. I want to go back to my home--and I'm so near, by the way... Gaza is so small. But I can't go there because the Gaza Strip is cut into pieces, and vehicles and tanks are in the borders between these pieces so I just can't go anywhere inside my homeland. My place. And... it's unacceptable. It's unimaginable. You know I have never imagined before that one day someone would just grab me from my... my homeland. My place. "B-but Palestinians can get their freedom with peace not violence 🥺🥺" no. Screw your feelings. The armed resistance against colonizers and murderers is what will give Palestinians their freedom and what will eventually achieve real peace.
An enemy that bombs and uses white phosphorus against civilians doesn't know nor practice what your broken moral compass describes as "peace". Freedom was proven throughout history not to be achieved through kneeling and asking the oppressor to kindly stop. Freedom needs to be taken by force. Your little Utopian way of thinking doesn't work in the real world. Your feelings don't matter because you're not the one living under occupation. Your feelings don't matter because you're not one of the thousands of children who lost their limbs. You're not one of the children who became orphans due to this genocide. You're not the mother who lost her child to the carpet bombing. You're not the father carrying the remains of your child in plastic bags. You're not the newlywed woman who lost her husband. You're not the one at risk of either getting killed any second or losing your loved ones in the blink of an eye!
"Peace" is not really a thing you see during a live ethnic cleansing!
