Day 10 - Maggie and a Magpie

AAaaaghh. So. XD It's been a while, Tumblr. Sorry I basically dropped off the face of the earth there. Things happened, forgot about Inktober. Y'know, the usual. XP But in any case I'm back and I'll be doing my best to see if I can't catch up with this here Inktober. So for your viewing pleasure... Dia's character Maggie, with a magpie. XD Waay overdue. I had a little sketch of this from like day 2 but never went anywhere. So here's a full one now. XD yayy...

Day 4 - Chiaroscuro

Four pen sizes and a ton of digital retouching later (i.e. the entire background almost is digital), I have a thing. XD Yeah I'm still a day behind and shamelessly calling it day 4 when I just did this today, but I will claim EJ's thing and say it's still yesterday somewhere on Earth. XD So there. I think I'll do another thing today since this wasn't actually what I wanted to draw but I had a ref up and I drew it, so yeah.

Art dumpppp. So as you can see I'm currently working on redrawing my JI plants collection. Each plant has a meaning and usage in Buddy culture, some of them I explained and others I didn't. Hence I'm going to put a little information about a few that I left out right overrrr.... here in a bit.

Inktober Day 1 - Randomly a Dane

So, I had this epic idea to like draw this epic creature thing for the first day of Inktober right? Well. That didn't pan out so you're stuck with my friend CC's character Dane instead. Because shamelessly advertising is just kind of what I do. Now you may be asking, what happened your stuff Kaze? Well. That's a very good question. I'll get back to you on that. All I know is, her manga/comic project Long Road Home got an update after a billion years and I've been on a Dane kick ever since. Sorta. Kinda. Maybe. I DUNNO I JUST HE WAS THERE AND I DREW HIM. So that's why.

That time of the morning when everything is blue, and the sun is still sleeping. When the clock reads 5 AM, but in your mind it's 7. When all is quiet, and the rush of the day has yet to begin. As I sit on my bed looking about the quiet room, it occurs to me that there's Something I need to do. Before the rush of day begins, before my mind becomes clouded with other thoughts, there's just one thing I need to do. Standing, I lift my arms, and hum quietly a tune. Yes, this is what I need to do. The Maker's made a new day for me to be alive, and I need to thank him before I head off to start it... So... Guess what happens when I'm listening to worship music late at night. XD Yeeep. This happens. I wanted to make a series of my chars worshiping... Or actually how this started was a year ago I made this like super super undetalied light just-lines-on-a-paper not-even-a-sketch of like all my mains at the time worshiping, and wanted to turn it into this giant pic in photoshop, but that never happened. So now I got inspired with worship and drew... one char. XD Hey that's something, right? So yeah maybe I'll make it a series, maybe I won't. Anyway this is Jasmine, from Crossroads. And my idea was early in the morning worshiping, that kinda thing. Woke up too early, maybe, and decided to spend a little time with the Maker before she had to get ready for the day. That's the thing about Jas I'm noticing that keeps happening, she starts the day off right but then something has a tendency to go horribly wrong later in the day. XD Funny about that there. So yeah...

Day 6 - Transient / Aedan / Art Trade for CC

Right so, yesterday I drew absolutely nothing for Inktober so I gotta catch up again! XD Here's what should have been day 6's drawing. 'Bout a week ago or two I said I'd do an art trade with CC and for some odd reason I dared to do Aedan. Even though feels. But yeah, I lived. XD Helps that I'm not drawing him angsting or anything, just normal... happy face but even that has feels... Especially since the theme I picked for it was "Transient." Not saying why... ;A; BUT ANYWAY yeah. So, I decided to merge Inktober with art trade and here we are. XD Hope you guys like!
