Nothing in the universe tops the feeling you get after a show, the high coursing through you in a rush that leaves you jittery and searching for more. Maybe that feeling is the reason why you make so many reckless decisions after shows, on the hunt for the next activity to keep the high going, doing things that had you running from cops with a group of people you just met, or waking up somewhere new with no recollection of how you got there. 

As you follow the group of people you just met into the local dive bar, you can only hope that whatever choices come next don’t involve a chase because you’re not sure your shoes can keep up. You don’t get a chance to take a look at the interior as you step in, an arm wrapped around your shoulder pulling you in so someone can ask you a question. 

“What are we drinking tonight?” His long blonde hair brushes against your face as he pulls back, staring down at you with a smile. You had met him when the show first started, apologizing to him when a shove from the crowd left you spilling your beer on his shoes. He had been friendly and easily welcomed you into the small group of friends he had with him, and that was all the convincing you needed to stick with them.
