Why, Fandom?
If you managed to download my fic before I deleted and are reading and enjoying privately, I’m ok with that. It’s when you take it upon yourself to completely disregard the wishes of an author, not to mention, y’know, COPYRIGHT, that I have a problem.
To say that if a fic is deleted, an author has no right to it anymore, is just ignorant. There is so much fic out there to read—why cause such an uproar by posting things, WITHOUT PERMISSION, that were deleted for a reason? I truly do not get it. If you’re trying that hard to be popular in fandom, where you’d disrespect and offend and violate a whole chunk of people go do it, well. Maybe you need to reevaluate your priorities.
