I wanna take a moment to appreciate the fact that I’ve had a good day. It doesn’t happen often and I want to acknowledge it while it’s here.
I slept in this morning (not too late but much later than is my usual), took a shower (self-care and hygiene can do wonders for your mood), found out I got cast in my spring musical (was really worried about that), had a training clinic at my dance studio (worked on flexibility, I’m super close to my right split), my mom and I went to Barnes and Noble (I got a few new things, paid with gift cards I’ve been wanting to use) and went out for dinner (I have Mac n cheese left for lunch tomorrow), and when we got home I got a package with some new fidget toys I ordered (wasn’t expecting them to get here so soon).
And the day’s not even over yet, my mom and I are gonna make cookies in a bit!
All in all today has been great, and I know things are gonna be hectic for the next few weeks but I’m gonna try and enjoy the little things while I can.

we will never have true gender equality until we start obnoxiously woobifying female villains. gone girl discourse is a good start but we need to go further. she needs to be like “I hurt people on purpose because I like it” onscreen and the fandom needs to be “she’s so misunderstood 🥺” and write five thousand out of character self-shipping fics. this will fix society
