First week of Invertober done!

I did both 6 and 7 today since I won’t have time tomorrow. These were all drawn and colored pretty quickly. A big reason I never do these types of challenges is because I get so caught up in the drawings being “perfect”. So to combat that, I’m only allowing myself 15ish minutes per drawing. Please be nice!

I know we make jokes about Edwin’s harem but it’s deeply tragic how every man who has ever desired Edwin romantically has also hurt him in profound ways. Simon is the reason Edwin was sent to hell. Monty abused his trust and nearly got him and Charles killed. The Cat King manipulated his repressed attraction and leashed him like a pet, keeping him trapped in a town with a murderous witch. All the while, the man Edwin actually loves, the man who has been nothing but kind and gentle and devoted towards him, does not love him back. Not in that way. Something Something Love is a punishment for not having been strong enough to remain alone.

in my humble opinion, minecraft has plenty of material to make a movie out of, it just has to be an artistic movie that is damn near silent all the time. also animated

like imagine a man wakes up alone not remembering who he is, he’s scared but ultimately finds a way to live, getting a dog, building a farm etc. one day while exploring he finds that he’s not the only person alive, he finds alex who’s been living with villagers.

imagine the movie deals with themes of mortality and immortality and being higher level beings. why are steve and alex different from villagers and pillagers? why are there lost civilizations? and what’s with the other dimensions? who were these old beings? are they one of them?

it could be a beautiful movie about purpose and how to live. especially with that end poem. the take away is you make you’re own meaning. or something like that

Well I'm here to inform you that Dead Boy Detectives is very much an unfinished story. Our fanbase is growing daily and audiences LOVE this show.

Season 2 is written, the cast & crew want to contiue the story, and the fans want to see more, so all you need to do is greenlight it! Despite your abysmal marketing, Dead Boy Detectives still managed to pull fantastic numbers that only continue to improve, even post-cancellation. It has made, and continues to make, "Best of" lists on a weekly basis and has drawn the attention of multiple publications, YouTubers, and critics.

You're squandering an incredible show, an opportunity to make money (in the form of streams AND merchandise), and destroying your reputation in the process! Please save Dead Boy Detectives; you have everything to gain in doing so! Do right by the cast, crew, and your paying customers! We're not going anywhere! THIS STORY MATTERS!

If you don't care about good representation, the stories on your platform, doing right by the people you employ, and doing right by your customers, at least realize that you're destroying your business and losing out on an opportunity to profit. If you don't want Dead Boy Detectives, let the showrunners take it to a platform that will do right by it and right by the fans - that's the least you can do!

I saw a post asking why Edwin seemed so resolute about escaping Hell when talking to Simon and then seemed so broken by the time Charles found him. And I just noticed something on rewatching - which is that Charles had to pick a lock between Gluttony and Lust. And it made me think that after talking to Simon, maybe Edwin made it to Gluttony only to find that his escape route from before didn't work this time because his way was locked. And then the spider grabbed him out of Gluttony and that's when he started to think that all hope was lost.
