thinking about how in the book richie is a self proclaimed lover ("i'm a lover not a fighter") and in the movie it's eddie who wears a cast that says lover and he wrote it on there himself... the layers!

NOT TO BE ANNOYING AND EMO ON MAIN even though that’s all i do but like. all of the losers have their tokens right and all of them, to the rest of the group, would be self-explanatory (eddie’s inhaler, bev’s signature in ben’s yearbook, ben’s poem for bev, the rock from the rock fight for mike, obviously bill with georgie’s boat, stan’s shower cap since it’s explained earlier). all of them can look at each other’s items and say yes i see how this has emotional significance……….and then richie’s just like “here’s a game token from the arcade” very coldly, drops it in, and nobody asks him why but they must be wondering, right? like why the fuck is this little token so significant? anyway just think about forty yr old richie tozier still being so deeply afraid of coming out, even to his best friends in the entire world, and i would like to d*e
