Just watched all 3 seasons of Vikings again. I'm sad. What the hell am I supposed to do now? My thoughts after a second time: Season 2 is the best These characters are pretty much the most complex awesome characters I've ever seen on television, even the characters I hate are fantastic. Kattegat is my dream home Best quotes of the show: "Cut off my arm" "Why not keep it?" "Because it's killing me, stupid" "I never knew what a martyr was...I still don't" "He should worry less about the God's and more about the fury of a patient man" Also, When will long hair and big beards come back in fashion for men? Just asking. I'll wait patiently for my husband to become my Rollo.

Almost done with book 2 of the Partials Series by Dan Wells and I'm freaking out. This series is fantastic! Crazy story to go with it too... I met Dan Wells this past weekend at Comic Con in Kansas City. My friends and I were talking to him about getting published etc. etc. and I started asking him about his books laid out on the table. I thought this series looked right up my alley and so I asked how much they were. He said 10 dollars and I just happened to have exactly that much left in cash so decided to get the first book while we joked together about how it was fate that I was there with exactly the cash I needed for the book. Then he turned to ask me who to make out the autograph too and when I told him "my name is Kira. K-I-R-A" he looked at me stunned. He asked me if I was serious and commented on the crazy coincidence. "The main character in Partials is named Kira" he said and showed me on page one-my name looking right back at me. I didn't hear creepy music in my ears but the serendipity of it all struck me. He was super cool and his books are brilliant. If you haven't read this series-you should! It is full of action, moral confoundary and a whole bunch of mystery and intrigue. I'm in love 😄
