A/N:   Hi, I’m changing the setting slightly, instead of it being the regular Hogwarts, I’m going to make it like a university version, so I don’t have to change the age.

Age 18-24 is students year 1-7.

Also my Hogwarts AU all take place after the war where Harry Potter and his friends fought and won against Voltemore. I was originally not thinking when I was writing and now that I’m editing I must take some characters out because they hav passed on. (aka. Dumbledore and Snape, etc)

The hallways were silent, most students were already in class, diligently taking down notes as the professors taught the lesson, thankful that for once Hogwarts seemed like it was peaceful. There were no sounds of loud explosions that shook the castle caused by pranksters, no shrill screams of panic from children as a potion experiment went wrong. Everything was nice and quiet, and all the professors seemed to thank Merlin, praying to whatever or whoever was up high in the sky that this serenity will last as long as it could.

However, the hope of the professors seemed to shatter as the silence didn’t last long when two students stared at each other fiercely, their voices slowly rising as they argued while the portraits and Hogwarts ghosts watched in eager amusement, many of them betting who was going to win.
