The morning sun shone through the white blinds and woke you from your sleep. You squinted, trying to adjust yourself with the new brightness and slowly got up. Stretching your arms, you let out a deep yawn.

You finally opened your eyes and tilted your head in confusion at the sight before you. Not being able to recall any memories from the night before further drove you into that confusion.

Taehyung and Jungkook were sprawled before you almost butt naked, except their briefs decided to save them a bit of decency.

You turned your head to the side and saw the clock hung at the wall greet you with 1133 hours.

Of course, Jungkook uses military time.

You look through the cabinet in his bathroom for a toothbrush and start brushing your teeth. By the time you are done freshening up and begin preparing brunch, you hear shuffling from the living room next to the kitchen.

“I mean, I didn’t know anything else to do… so yea.” You nod in agreement. You’re not sure you would have had anything useful to say if you were in Taehyung’s position either.

The milk starts bubbling and slowly rises to overflow. You turn off the stove and leave it to cool off while you take out two cups and put three spoons of milo into them. You pour the milk and mix.

“Brush your teeth first?” you say while Taehyung sits across you on the dining table next to the kitchen.

“I’ll brush afterwards,” he takes a sip.

“That’s disgusting,” you throw tissue at him.

You make some toast and bring it over with a jar of strawberry jam.

“So, when do you start work at the new place?” Taehyung asks while he starts spreading the jam.

The two of you continue eating, sipping on the hot drink in between while Jungkook’s quiet snores play in the background.

You mull over this with your eyebrows furrowed.

You nod and stare at your drink.

Jungkook wakes up as you were doing the dishes and Taehyung left to start showering.

“No, I haven’t found anyone else and yea, I was serious,” Jungkook crosses his legs too, “when do you start your work?”

You told him everything and he gives you a nod, “You can come arrange your stuff anytime, I can give you my spare keys.”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jungkook!” you hug him from the side, “Not gonna lie, I was just gonna leave this till the last minute and rush to find a place, but Taehyung said just to accept when a friend is offering so,” you shrug, giving a somewhat simplified version of what Taehyung told you.

“Do you want me to spend my days looking for movies to pirate onto discs so I can watch them on the weekends? I’d rather die.”
