You’re seeing fall out boy on a concert. Everyone is having a great time. Fall out boy seem a little excited. “We have a surprise for you guys.” Partick says. All of a sudden P!ATD come out and start singing “this is gospel.” When Brendon gets to the chorus, someone else starts singing… “When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to see a marching band.” Lights flash everywhere, and you see FOB singing “this is gospel” along with P!ATD, while MCR is singing “Black parade”. Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. Then if things couldn’t get any better, Dan and Phil walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag.

Let me explain:
(With the caveat that I originally learned about this from reading a digital linguistics paper published at Georgia Tech University and am not myself fluent in any Chinese language or involved in online Chinese spaces)
In the early 2000's, the Chinese government started to somewhat aggressively censor certain topics and discussions on internet bulletin boards accessed by its citizens. And as part of that censorship campaign, the word "censorship" itself - along with synonyms - was censored on the internet (presumably so that people couldn't talk about the censorship).
But humans have an amazing capacity for breaking rules in the funniest way possible, so Chinese internet users started to use the word harmonious - 和谐 (M: héxié) - as a tongue-in-cheek euphemism for censorship (a reference to the CCP's then-stated goal of creating a "harmonious society"). For example: instead of saying something had been censored, users would instead say that the content was "brought into harmony."
Pretty funny, right? But of course the government did what governments who want to censor things do: it also censored the word 和谐 (M: héxié) and its variations. That's no fun...
But the thing about tonal languages is that they have a LOT of very near homophones. And in Mandarin, only one tonal shift from harmonious - 和谐 (M: héxié) - is the word for mud crab - 河蟹 (M: héxiè). And thus the word "censorship" has evolved into the word "mud crab" in online Chinese-user spaces.
To deal with that, the government of course started censoring the word mud crab - 河蟹 (M: héxiè) - allowing the euphemism for censorship to further evolve into the word for "aquatic (commercial) product" - 水产 (M: shuǐchǎn) - and its various homophones and variations.
The moral of the story: trying to censor people almost always fails, Mandarin avoided the Orwellian newspeak nightmare that is English-language censorship through the sheer power of tonal homophones, and everything, everywhere eventually evolves into a crab.
