Spirited Away || pjm

↠ Spirited Away ↞ Part of my Ghibli Yandere Series!
You knew that you shouldn’t have gotten out of the car. Shouldn’t have followed your parents into the seemingly abandoned theme park. Shouldn’t have let them eat the food.
Because now they were being held hostage. And you were trapped. Stuck in a backwards resort for supernatural spirits, with no way out except to work to free both yourself and your parents. Until you met a mysterious Park Jimin.
Though there was something not quite right about him.
But he was your only hope of escape. You could trust him…right?
Warnings/Genre: Supernatural. Horror. Yandere!Jimin. Haku!Jimin. Spirited Away!au. Dark themes. Kidnapping. Obsessive behavior. Death of minor characters. Manipulation. Mature themes. Unhealthy relationships. Violence. Explicit language.
Word Count: 10.2k
Part 1 of 2.
A/N: Special thanks to @sinning-on-a-sunday for helping me with figuring out how the hell to write yandere lol. And to @yoongs-jeontae for answering my movie based questions!

“–/n.”
Turning your head away from the rear car window, you glanced towards your mother who was sitting in the front seat. She was halfway turned at the waist to look at you, hands flapping with wild gestures to take the earphones out of your ears. With a sigh, you pulled out one bud.
“What did you say?”
“I was saying,” Your mother, ever the cheerful woman, brushed stray wisps of her brunette hair away from her face. “We’re almost there. Are you excited?”
The there she was referring to was the college you’d be attending for the rest of your academic career. You’d just turned nineteen last month, and no, you hadn’t taken a year long sabbatical. Your parents had just homeschooled you a year later than what was necessary. Why they hadn’t just sent you off to fall prey to the public school system like the rest of the kids in your neighborhood, you didn’t know.
But now that you were old enough to legally make your own decisions, they’d had no choice but to accept your wish to attend university. In a town far, far away from the one you’d been raised in. You just wanted a shot at a normal life. To have friends and do what people your age normally did. Maybe even find your first boyfriend if you were lucky.
“Yeah.” You responded, eyes shifting over to the gps hanging from the suction cup arm attached to the front windshield. It was flickering, the glowing green route changing every three seconds and screaming to Make-A-U-Turn-Now! “What’s up with the gps?”
