a young user is trying to cancel a group member they don't like over a vague comment someone left about them on a real people fetishization fanfic about one of their group mates x an artist they befriended at Eurovision

the comment is so vague and it just talks about an alleged rumor they heard from someone but this person took it as gospel, despite there not being any proof for it

while talking about it they let it slip that they found it while looking at *drum rolls* 9/11 fanfic about said band x other artist

then some twitter spaces happened when they were i guess defending what they said?

chaos ensued because wtf

it all culminated in the artists themselves being happy for trending on Twitter and not knowing why and fans telling them not to look it up

negative self talk "im going to die here" vs positive self talk "im going to start killing"
