i knew that yamaguchi would make a good captain cause handling this tiny machine is not an easy job.

ugh can never say i love the manga art enough it’s so cool

ro and yamaguchi self ship went sooo crazy back in the day yall would not believe

like quarantine was getting to me so bad i discovered the meaning of a comfort character fr wow

still drives me crazy that the three protagonists of challengers (art donaldson, tashi duncan, patrick zweig) have first initials that spell out “atp” (association of tennis professionals)

I JUST REMEMBERED I DRESSED UP AS KUROKEN WITH MY FRIEND FOR HALLOWEEN 4 YEARS AGO 😭😭😭

cropped it bc that’s more my style, or at least when not oversized n baggy (if ONLY i had gotten like a medium or large or smth so it would also be realistic to if it was actually his jersey LOL)

random note but i’ve always loved kuroo sm bc he had sm confidence that, when i was younger, i did nottt have.

but now that im older :) i’ve found myself much more self confidence! i don’t think younger me would fathom at all that i ended up as much like her fav as that.

i distinctly remember back when i dressed up for halloween like this, i didn’t like how i looked in it, and pretty much any of my clothes at the time (it was just me and three friends at the time hanging out for halloween, we didn’t go out or anything so i still felt comfortable enough to wear it).

it was for that reason i even quit vball bc yes i used to play (pinch server aka how i lie abt not being a bench warmer) 😭 i would feel so self conscious in the uniform or even just speaking up to call the ball (a pretty important part of the game)

but now!! i look at myself, even in a stupid little sports anime jersey, and one i even chose to wear cropped as well, and think “okkk i look good rn, i like how i look rn”

and that feels so nice knowing where i used to be at before

yeah </3 stupid little character development moment, but for me not just some fav anime character of mine

haikyuu will always have a special place in my heart bc of things like this!! there’s no kuroppiii w/o kuroo after all 🫶
