i've seen people discuss parallels between noelle and other characters before but i barely ever see people mention noelle and chara parallels when i feel there's a lot to mention there. their respective associations with their game's no-mercy routes, the desire for strength taken to it's absolute worst form with the player's guidance, chara's whole 'demon that comes when you call it's name' thing and how noelle appears when you call her name in the spamton neo fight, chara fulfilling the role of the angel from the ut prophecy in the genocide route and noelle's own associations with the angel of her game.

chara and noelle are both associated with aspects of one's mentality while playing games, chara represents completionism, raising your stats, the basic rpg player deal. chara is dedicated to the absolute. noelle meanwhile is associated with, quoted directly from sweepstakes "game secrets, glitches, and theories". when the absolute isn't enough, so you go within the cracks to find something new.

snowgrave feels like a natural progression of the mindset from the genocide route to me. g route is trying to wring out all the game has to offer, a basic completionist mindset taken to it's extreme. but when even completionism isn't enough, when you still aren't content with what playing the game gave you, that's when you start to break the game instead. playing in ways you weren't meant to, trying out glitches to see what happens, trying to datamine the files to see what was left out, etc, and that's what snowgrave is. it's not something you can stumble upon naturally out of simple completionism. it's breaking the game to see what happens.
