Ok I have a theory and an AU idea.

So in PowerEdd the superpowers go away by the end of the episode right? Skipping forward to The End part 1 we see Eduardo drinking some kind of liquid and his hair turns green for a second. Obviously it is the same liquid from his TV that have him and Edd powers. Here's the actual theory: the radiation has some kind of side affect. Hear me out: the TV was nuclear- powered. Radiation is involved. They are drinking radiation.

Obviously with the opening scene of PowerEdd we see that it turns the blood green. Going with that information, I have a theory.

So when Eduardo wishes Jon was dead, it could be because he was in a bad mood or that radiation had affected with his brain. He has been drinking toxic chemicals for a prolonged period of time. It had to have messed up his brain causing him to have that outburst.

So I propose the following Au: Edd finds the radiation that gave him his powers back. He drinks it a lot and it messes him up, making him evil. Basically Jekyll and Hyde but with PowerEdd.
