some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

Alright, serious signal boost here for the folks who want to get on the bandwagon for a good cause at as low as USD1!

Communications is a MAJOR issue in Gaza currently, and due to blackouts, a lot of folks there (civilians, local press and medical teams) rely on e-sims to connect with the outside world to send/receive news and document what’s going on there which is extremely important given how fast things are escalating there on a daily basis.

Now, there’s a number of carriers which offer e-sims for the region, but Simly so far offers the cheapest package, and with the referral code (which has been tested and works), you’re paying as low as a dollar to help a Palestinian speak to their families, speak to the world and send word for aid and services that they need.

I will be offering art in exchange for larger packages later (they need a combination of smaller packages for quick/on-the-fly connections and larger, more stable packages for members of the press and/or local aid operations), but if you have just a dollar to spare, and right now there have been multiple calls for this as they are running low again, please donate it to help Palestinians keep connected!
