Reminder to writers/authors experiencing burnout or writer's block (or both - double curse!): try reading a new author.

Obviously it might not help help you, but immersing yourself in a new writing style and way of telling a story, with new ideas and a new setting/world might just get you fired up again about all things literary.

It might not fix the issue because writer's block is a complicated and nuanced little bitch, but it might at least give you the sparks of inspiration and imagination you need to tide you over until the block dissolves or the energy to write returns.

Either way, take it easy, and don't be hard on yourself. You're still a writer, even when you're not actively writing, and don't you forget that.

This coming August 29th marks the original release date of Symphonia in Japan. With that in mind, us here at the Symphonia Remastered Countdown would like to host a celebration day for our favorite game! So we're inviting everyone to participate with sharing their fan creations of this resonating JRPG!

To participate in the event, simply use the tags #tos21 or #talesofsymphonia21 for your art/fic/cosplay/crafts and we'll reblog it!

For themes, we decided on ‘celebration’ or ‘party,’ but this is simply a suggestion. The main goal is to celebrate Symphonia, including your favorite characters, scenes, ships or even AUs! You can also share older fanworks for the day!

For all works, we only ask that they be SFW and and not go past a PG-13 rating, as has been done for our past events. If you have any questions, please feel free to message or send in an ask!
