People really underestimate the power of just telling someone you like them. romantically obviously but hell even just platonically too. You can admit you enjoy peoples presence it doesn’t have to be mind games it’s okay to just be sincere and true with your thoughts and intentions btw

one of the best pieces of advice i've ever received when writing is that if you hit a road block with a story, set it aside and try to focus on something else, so that when you come back to it, you'll have a fresh perspective. returning to some of my older stories after setting them aside for so long has really helped me envision where i want things to go and write things with a more coherent plot and fresh ideas. sometimes, a story draft isn't dead, just sleeping.
