So I'm starting it off with Kinkajou!

Is anyone else kinda grossed out by how young Darkstalker was when he went evil? Iirc, he was only about 5 years old, which I believe is the dragon equivalent of a young teenager. Yes, he turned over 2000, but he was asleep the entire time so he’s still mentally a child. Personally I think Tui should’ve made him waaaaayy older, like an actual adult or something, instead of basically just making him a power hungry kid with a huge god complex. Don’t get me wrong, he’s my favorite villain, but the fact that he’s technically a child makes me really uncomfortable when I think about how his “friends” treated him, even before he did anything bad. He did awful things ofc and deserved to be punished for them, but still, it would be much harder to sympathize with him if he was fully grown

exactly. it's yet another (and perhaps the most egregious) example of tui sutherland's attitude towards abused children that "dont act the correct way" or in other words, have maladaptive/unhealthy coping mechanisms and need help unhearning harmful behaviors. but nooo theyre just evil from birth and doomed to be evil forever lol

I love Darkstalker and I love his "fall" from grace. Particularly since I don't every think he was good and just got worst as time went on. He's a man incapable of self-reflection and growth and was always destined to become a monster.
