Odysseus and Eurylochus freeze as Polites clutches his stomach.

It was a strong thrust, intended to kill, and cut right through Polites' worn-down armor. As he falls back, both of his friends rush to his side in terror and guilt. Just realized The Underworld Saga feels like the antithesis of the Troy Saga (All of Odysseus men still alive hoping to get home fully trusting their captain while he struggles to maintain his humanity and compassion x Almost all of Odysseus man dead while he fully embraces being the monster).

Meanwhile the Thunder Saga feels like the juxtaposition (not sure this is the word in English) of the Cyclops Saga (similar narrative structure with opposite endings: meeting an unexpected foe who ends up killing some of Odysseus man and ends with a God teaching Odysseus a lesson, but in the first his mercy and, perhaps, pride were his downfall while now he shows no mercy, makes the sacrifices and makes it out alive, internalizing the lesson the God wanted to teach him)
