an audible exhale leaves leo’s lips, one full of discontent and disgust for the warm body standing before him. if it weren’t for his cool demeanor, he would be reaching across the floor and shaking heejun vigorously out of frustration. it wasn’t what he was expecting to hear tumbling from his lips. admitting such defeat so publicly and within earshot of his ex. vulnerability wasn’t leo’s forte and he wasn’t one to feign something he possibly couldn’t comprehend. 

the stained glass reflected indigo hues onto his skin as his gaze shifted to the body standing behind him. it simply a subtle flicker; a three second gaze full of embarrassment because of the predicament and wonder whether the other had noticed the moment leo lost his temper. whether he heard the glass crumble in his hands. he was suppose to be relaxing, he had promised her. 

yet, he had lost his temper over the waiter dropping a glass of water down heejun’s back and taking far too long to clean it up.

plump flesh settles itself between pearly whites as he tries to think of something to say in the small restaurant. his mind is void of thoughts, instead focusing on the ivory cloth ( now stained crimson )  and the broken device in his hand. 

“i should bash his face in for the disrespect. i’ve hurt others for much less,” he murmurs as leo releases the impaired device and grabs his napkin around his hand. “i apologize for this awkward date.”

this look
