a mix-up of good omens-coded songs (idk how to title this--)

Hellooo my maggots, so there were a number of songs that were just so good omens and ineffable lovers coded that I had to see how they sounded together. But me being me, I don't know how to actually mashup songs, so I just sang it the way I'd have wanted to mashup the songs and made it into one song.

Of course all songs remind us of Good Omens now, that's a different matter of significant concern. But these especially were very Aziraphale and Crowley's religious-trauma-and-being-queer vibey.

The songs I cover here are (in order and excluding repeats) Devil's Backbone by the Civil Wars, Take Me to Church by Hozier, Angel By the Wings by Sia, Falling by Harry Styles, Holy Water by Noah Davis, The Village by Wrabel and Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.

this is how the movie went right

I really think Rasputin lucked out, in that being remembered by history as some species of giant unkillable sex wizard is something most of us can only fruitlessly aspire to.

ID: a 3-panel digitally sketched comic strip in a cartoony style of thara celehar and iäna pel-thenhior from the grief of stones. thara is a thin elf with pale curly hair, pale skin, and a square jaw. his hair is in a simple braid and he's wearing a dark coat. in the first panel, thara is in the foreground sitting in an armchair, reading the paper. his expression is neutral, kind of nonchalant. the title of the paper says, "witness destroys lich king" and scribbled on the other side is the word "garbage." iäna is in the background at the counter making tea, his back turned to thara. he is a tall, slim goblin-elf with darker skin and dark, long braids. he is wearing a light dressing gown and slippers, and there is a suggestion of a teapot on the counter. scribbled with an arrow pointing at the counter it says, "making tea." in the second panel, iäna is calling "honey?" over his shoulder to thara. he has a spoon in one hand, and a honey jar is indicated on the counter. still with a neutral expression, thara responds, "yes, dear?" his newspaper is now titled "witness loses goth powers." on the other page is scribbled "garbage cont." in the third panel iäna is spinning around, a big excited heart-shaped grin on his face, his eyes big and shiny in adoration. he is gasping and blushing and there are little heart doodles around his head. thara looks stricken, just realizing his mistake, and he's gripping the newspaper tightly, shoulders raised. he is blushing fiercely, his mouth a tight line. scribbled around him is "OOPS," "fuck," "shit," and "stupid." the newspaper is now titled, "witness: GAY??" and the other page reads "homo." end ID
