Reminder to be kinder to Palestinians on this platform (and in general tbh). They deal with a lot of hatred, insensitive comments/questions, and a lot of things in general both on this platform and in real life. They're human beings. They have emotions too. Please be kinder.
My heart hurts every time I see Palestinian creators here deal with so much negativity and having to constantly remind people that they're humans too. Again, please be kinder. Stop dehumanizing them.
It takes nothing to stop posting about your interests for a week
Just seven days
Innocent Palestinians are dying every day. It is the very least we can do to take seven days out of our plush comfortable lives and spread awareness for them, uplift their voices and experiences, donate funds to humanitarian aid, individual fundraisers for evacuation, or esims. Boycott brands that support isr@3l, get in touch with your government's and demand a ceasefire (be polite about it tho).
But the very fucking least you can do is stop posting about fandoms or personal things this week. The ICJ and governments have failed Palestine, the internet is their best hope right now, keeping people aware of the atrocities being committed against them every single day, spreading resources to aid them ... And every voice matters.
So use it
Use your voice
Speak up, be loud. Silence is what allows this to go on, it's what allows genocides to annihilate entire civilizations without hindrance.
Your silence aids the oppressors and murders
DON'T STAY SILENT
SPEAK UP
KEEP SHOUTING UNTIL PALESTINE IS FREE
It couldn't get more dystopian than the fact that we live in a world where most people are so morally apathetic that not even the massacre of children shake their feelings; instead, they choose to ignore the suffering of others with willful ignorance. The way so many people have shown absolutely zero regard for Palestinian genocide and ethnic cleansing should terrify us all.
What to say when a stranger asks about your cane in an uncomfortable way:

"Starbucks is not in the BDS list" yeah well, the BDS is not the only list, listen to palestinians and what are they asking you to boycott certain brands.
Starbucks is a shit company even if they changed the CEO. They benefit from Brazilian child labor, the deforestation of the Amazon is part of their fault too, they don't pay fair to coffee farmers in Mexico and steal from them and I'm pretty sure they are like that in every country they have a shop. Stop supporting them PERIOD.
Fuck your boycott fatigue, people are dying.
Fuck your boycott fatigue, you have internet access and millions have no contact with their families
Fuck your boycott fatigue, you wonât die without Starbucks or McDonaldâs, but real people are dying BECAUSE of them
Fuck your boycott fatigue.

"It's not that deep, let people drink coffee" It's not that deep? more than 30k people have been killed over the course of six months. the next generation of Palestinians is going to have birth defects because on average, 10 kids a day become amputees. premature births have increased by 20-30 percent. 13 libraries containing old and important texts have been burnt down. people are actively trying to erase a whole culture and drive them away from their homes. a university that is more than 1000 years old has been reduced to a pile of rubble. more children have been killed daily than in the holocaust. Palestinians, even if they don't currently live in Palestine, are going to have trauma over this. this is the most well-recorded genocide ever witnessed and yet it is still going on.
all this but you can't stop buying far-too-expensive and shitty coffee from a multimillion-dollar company that is funding the group responsible for this genocide? grow up and start to realise that you, even as one person, have the power to affect a company because when you start, you will somehow influence the people around you. and there are way better and cheaper places to buy coffee from.
so, yes. it is that deep.
I posted about Palestine on social media for years with zero interaction. No one wanted to talk about it and it has always seemed too far removed for americans to give a shit about.
So again I just want to remind people, it's never been like this before (in the us). This movement has always been here, but they can no longer bury it.
The fact that protests and boycotts have been sustained for going-on 6months, that's not nothing. This should be evidence to you that we can sustain the momentum, we must, and use this momentum for radical changes within ourselves, our habits, and our education.
We have the rest of the world to catch up with.

LET GAZA LIVE, FREE THEM ALL, VIVA VIVA INTIFADA
we've been watching a horrific genocide for 4 months now, and your silence in complicity. ceasefire is the bare minimum, and just the beginning.

I focus a lot on Palestine in this blog, but holy shit, the silent genocide in Sudan gives me the creeps. So much unspeakable shit is happening, and we're blind to it. No coverage, no journalism, nothing. How can you even mobilize people to act in that direction when we can't even see what's happening?

People whoâre trying to âThis is just Tumblrâ their way out of being informed about Palestine (re: a genocide) are so fucking weird. This is a social media. Thousands of dollars have been raised from people sharing information about Palestine on Tumblr. Just say youâre not saying anything bc you care more about your Tumblr blog aestheticâor because you donât want to put the effort into learning whatâs happening. Like just own up to not giving a fuck
Gaza is not starving. Gaza is being starved by Israel. their condition is so bad that they are forced to consume animal feed just to keep their stomach full. but it isn't providing them any nutrition which is causing malnutrition. this is one of the most well documented genocide of all time and yet there are people who deny it or worse, they don't care. please don't turn away from their suffering and keep talking about Gaza.

palestinian artist sliman mansour
do not forget or refuse to include palestinian men. despite the genocide, they are kind. they are gentle. they are innocent lives who continue to give tender care even in the face of death.
palestinian men, women and children are facing genocide.
Keep talking about Gaza. Keep talking about Palestine. Keep talking about Palestinian martyrs. Keep talking about Palestinian survivors. Keep talking about Palestinian children. Keep talking about war crimes. Keep talking about genocide. Keep talking about colonialism. Keep talking about forced starvation. Keep talking about forced adoption. Keep talking about Israeli occupation. Keep talking about the Nakba of 1948.
KEEP TALKING ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING TO PALESTINE
Keep boosting Palestinian history. Keep boosting Palestinian graphics. Keep boosting Palestinian poetry. Keep boosting Palestinian fashion. Keep boosting Palestinian textiles. Keep boosting Palestinian art. Keep boosting Palestinian culture. Keep boosting Palestinian values. Keep boosting Palestinian stories. Keep boosting Palestinian voices. Keep boosting Palestinian life. Keep boosting Palestinian loss. Keep boosting Palestinian love. Keep boosting Palestinian grief. Keep boosting Palestinian hope.
KEEP BOOSTING PALESTINIAN HUMANITY
I will support Palestine and the Palestinians until I take my last breath.
I know Iâve been reblogging a lot of stuff about Palestine recently, which might be off putting to some of you who followed me for art or tntduo or whatever else. Hereâs what I have to say to you if youâre wondering why:
Whatâs happening in Palestine is genocide and it is the most important thing in the world to keep talking about it, no matter what your account usually looks like or how many followers you have or how much engagement you get.
If your account has an aesthetic, forget it. Talk about Palestine. If your account is dedicated to one thing and one thing only, drop it. Talk about Palestine. If you just got here and you only have 1 follower, it doesnât matter. Talk. About. Palestine.
The more we talk the more we force people to remember, to look at the horror and death and despair theyâve cultivated against so many innocent lives.
Your voice matters. đ”đž
please keep unfollowing me. you stay silent, you are complicit with whatâs happening. i donât want fake ass friends.
to the ones who would rather ignore it and the ones who just donât fucking care; youâre pathetic. youâre disgusting, and i wish i didnât know you.
i feel sick to my stomach. iâm sick to my stomach. disgusted even by the fact youâre blatantly ignoring a genocide. scrolling past videos and posts about the real world where people are dying every minute, and instead you sit there giggling like a complete twat. literal fucking idiots asking me why iâm mad. the question you should be asking yourself is, why are YOU not mad? why are YOU not upset? why are YOU not pissed off? why are YOU sitting there and acting like nothing is happening?
yaâll for real make me wanna rip my hair out. you have these big platforms, but you donât even wanna use it? you state you give a shit, but youâre silent the fucking second something happens? spare me that shit. be for real. if you cared, you would be speaking out more. no one has time for your fake ass excuses anymore.
to the ones who are using their platform and using it to spread awareness. i love you. i love you for using your voice. i love you for simply reblogging everything you see. thank you. you all are amazing.
but for the ignorant assholes? fuck off. get away. youâre all complicit, and i donât care about you.
As usual, Free Palestine đ”đž

noticed a dip in posts about palestine on my dash, so i think it deserves to be said again: palestine is not a trend. caring about genocide is not a trend. there are still reports about humanitarian aid trucks intentionally blocked off from gaza, meaning so many fucking gazans, a big portion of them children, are just bleeding out with no help. it just came out recently that israelis disguised as women and medics infiltrated a west bank hospital, at which point they killed 3 palestinians (whom they claim were militants. right). these people are living day to day without even the most basic utilities. anyone who claims to have âactivism fatigueâ needs to question why theyâre so severely lacking in the most basic forms of compassion. you donât get to just grow bored of talking about palestine. please never stop calling attention to the genocide happening full force in front of us.
it's been almost 6 months - half a year!!! - of the genocide in gaza. if you still believe israel "has the right to defend itself", you use the hostages as an excuse or just simply call yourself a zionist... well, I hope you'll get attacked by an angry herd of buffalos
